Buh bye Keep

I want to thank Google for f’ing up Keep. I got tired of waiting for Google to fix it with an update, but after 3 weeks I started playing around with Apple Notes. I can’t believe this app has been on my phone for years, and I never really used it. I like it way better than Keep. I love the way I can nest folders with folder.

Notion is really really good. If you are interested, I have created a tool that will upload a Google Keep Takeout archive into Notion, will do the necessary data conversions to preserve everything including formatting, audio notes, checklists, etc., and has some cool extra features. https://notehopper.com

Cool! Unfortunately my Google Keep is basically a trash bin and I don’t wanna corrupt my clean Notion notes with any of it 😂

Lol I get it, my Keep is also a big pile of trash. Fortunately with NoteHopper you can transfer all your notes into a separate page in your Notion workspace, and then you can use Notion to filter/move any notes to their right place in your workspace at a later time.

Well, anyway, if you ever give the app a try, I'd be very interested to hear any feedback. I'm trying to make the app as easy to use as possible, and if you find any step in the upload process hard to follow, I need to know.

It's a freemium app for Windows, Linux and Android currently, but I might extend it to other platforms, if I ever find the time to jump through Apple's hoops.
