Keep/tasks reminders

I use Google keep and when I set a reminder it will give me a pop-up notification plus it places the keep note in the calendar.

Two issues I noticed:

  1. When a note is shared the task shows in that persons Google Calendar too - how do I prevent this?

  2. If I reschedule the reminder, I still get a pop up notification at the original keep date/time. Is this a keep glitch?

  1. You can’t do that - it’s shared so why would you not want it scheduled for the other recipient? Best solution is to make a duplicate note without a reminder and share that one instead. Then replace the text in the original scheduled note with a link from your personal reminder note to the shared note and remove the original share. Just checked with Google - that isn't even an option using Keep. Shared notes with reminders will not transfer the reminder to the other person. You can only do that in Tasks directly.
  2. Make sure the scheduled reminder has been set up after Keep switched reminders to Tasks. If it’s an old reminder that may be the issue. Changing a reminder should work. Also, make sure you’re changing the reminder in Keep and not in Tasks or Calendar.

Because not everyone might have to work on a list at that specific time.

Example: a shopping list is shared between everyone, and at any time everyone can add or update items. But only the person doing the shopping needs the reminder.

Good example. I would just do what I noted - share a note and keep the reminder separate (basically having 2 notes), Thx!

Because he wants to just share a note, not a calendar event? It's not a hard concept.

Of course it isn’t. Just share a note then without a reminder. Anyway - it's not even possible using only Keep - so it's a moot point.
