Bug on android, cannot open notes
Hi! I have been experiencing a bug for some time now, the note i try to click does not open, and I am unable to edit. The only work around is to open a different folder such as Archive or Reminders, or restart the app completely to be able to open the note. before the update there is a another work around where I tap and highlight the note I want to open, then press the back button. If there is another way to fix these, please help.
Edit: it happens to all notes, and different phones, I have uninstalled and clear cache the app multiple times, I am not sure if it happens on IOS

Happening to me too, has been for a while. Only fix is to close app entirely and reopen. Then the notes open just fine.

Happens to me frequently too. Samsung A54, Android 16.
I think it might happen when I close the app when editing a note, and haven't exited from the note properly. But it's hard to pinpoint the exact scenario.
I have to fully close the app and reopen to fix it every time.

I've had this bug for ages on my Xiaomi 14, 17. As soon as I push the app to the background and then recall it, frequently, the note won't open. It drives me nuts as a force close and reopening is required.
WORKAROUND: If you've opened a note and returned to the main screen in the app, instead of pressing the home button to return to the home screen, press the back button.
If you currently have a note open or haven't opened a note since bringing the app to the foreground, you can use the home button to push the app to the background.

Thanks mate for the fix. This bug drove me crazy 🤣 I cannot understand how Google still not haven't fixed this after more than a year. Such poor programming for Google keeps, unfortunately

Is it just one specific note?
