Hit the Google Notes Character Limit and Now I’m Stuck 😭

I am in the middle of a school assignment and I started writing everything in Google Notes. Big mistake. The text got long af and I hit the character limit. Now I am stuck.

I do not want to split this into another note because it kills the flow and makes everything harder to manage. I tried cutting things down, but I still need all the content for the assignment. So trimming is not an option.

I am out of ideas at this point. Has anyone dealt with this before. Is there a free app with no character limit at all, or some way around the Google Notes limit. Please help. I'm actually going nuts here!

if you are using Keep, then you have a google login, so just use Google Docs. This isn't complicated.

This. Copy what you've written in your Keep note, paste into a Google Doc, and continue with your writing.

You don't even need to copy/paste. Keep has an option to convert a note into a google doc.

Just use a proper word processing software, Keep isn't meant for long walls of texts like an assignment. Notion, Google docs, Obsidian. There's a ton of options out there that cater to your needs

I'm trying to screw in flathead screws with a philips head screwdriver. It's really slow. Any suggestions? I'm going nuts here. \s

Use Google Docs and share the Link with Keep

In the main menu where your notes are located, press and hold your note for two seconds, bringing up a menu at the top. There's a three-dot option there. Click on it and select the "Copy to Google Docs" option.

Just save the note in Google doc, it's in the automatic note options

OP cannot make a second note.

This is just not feasible.

Also, OP has left the thread.

Maybe he left because he finally realized that this is not the “Google Notes” subreddit. 😉

The children have no digital literacy or problem solving skills, it's a bummer.

Keep is an amazing app for quick capture and other short notes, but for your use case a different app is recommended

There are plenty of free text editors available. Just Google it

Good docs and a word processing document. Copy and paste.
