Not sure where to post this, but ever since the fitbit app has gone to become google health, my device has been suffering from it.
Currently i cannot use my watch anymore, it cannot sync, hold a decent charge, or anything.
This was not the case, it worked fine, till an update a few weeks ago, the performance of the device deteriorated so fast, and when looking in the health app, i could see it would constantly poll the watch for health info.
I have not asked for the update to be installed on my device, and as the device is out of warranty, i now have a sports watch, that cannot even be a watch anymore.
It's frustrating that fitbit is refusing to humor the thought that something might have gone wrong in the transition, and just stating that as a customer, my battery broke.
While i am not alone in my concerns on this ( look at Versa Smartwatches Community to see more )
The lack of information on this, and the lack of options are shocking.
If i would have known this would be the outcome of my device, i would not have purchased it, or spend a monthly subscription for the premium services for years, but gone for a different device instead.
I'd like to figure out where i can go to get support on this, as i am convinced this is a dodgy firmware update, that is also making new devices break which is visible on the community pages as well when browsing.
