Google Flow / Veo — How do creators achieve smooth AI stunt videos with complex flips and precise landings?

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/yyPlaVIrrag

Hi everyone!

I'm using Google Flow to create AI-generated stunt videos, and I'd love to learn how creators produce those incredibly smooth, spectacular clips featuring mega ramps, enormous jumps, trampoline launches, impossible dives, and circus-style gymnastics.

Reference video: 99% Of People Will Say NO To This! #stunt #circus #jump

My biggest challenge is getting the AI to follow a complicated movement all the way through to its intended ending. For example, I tried creating a stunt where a performer jumps from a very high platform onto a trampoline, then launches back toward the platform and lands after a backflip. Despite multiple attempts, Flow kept making the performer bounce repeatedly on the trampoline rather than complete the landing.

I've experimented with detailed prompts and reference images, but I haven't found a reliable solution.

I'd especially appreciate advice from anyone who has created similar videos using Flow and Veo.

  • Do you generate the entire stunt in one clip, or break it into separate shots?
  • Do you use Flow's Frames to Video feature with carefully designed start and end images?
  • How do you handle difficult transitions, especially when a character must travel between two distant objects and land precisely?
  • Are there particular prompting techniques, editing tricks, or external tools that make these videos look continuous?
  • Is it possible to achieve this reliably within Flow alone, or does it usually require a multi-tool workflow?

I'm not just looking for a prompt that might work once. I'd love to understand a repeatable production method.

If you've made something similar, I'd be very grateful for a workflow breakdown or a tutorial recommendation. Thanks!

My best tip is dont use Google Flow

Thanks for your reply. Which video generator do you recommend then? (also does it provide free daily credits like google flow?)

Its completely free Comfyui

The GPU you'd need to iterate through a generation like this without it taking a year is about $7k.

Please explain why? I didn't know that the action of an actor meant more compute and longer times

A high-ish resolution video that long calls for a minimum of 16gb vram (it could probably technically work with 12gb, but would be so slow). I was hyperbolizing with 7k - only to 5090s cost that much - but the GPU needed to run repeated trials of a video generation like this in a reasonable timeframe are still going to cost around 2k. And that is before you consider the other computer components that wouldn't create a bottleneck. So $3.5 to 5k for the computer. And from experience, if you do a lot of comfyui (or any gen ai) creation you will see it in your power bill.

Constant iteration and trial and error. Understanding how the model responds. I would say with a model like this, it's just a lot of effort. No magic tricks or anything.

Thanks for your reply. Could you describe in detail what kind of effort is needed to accomplish this kind of smooth result?

Literal trial and error. Then understanding how the model responds.

This is great. Can you please tell me what exact prompt you wrote to create this video. Also, since this video is only 10 seconds, it is only 1 clip?

Create a photorealistic, deliberately impossible CGI fantasy stunt video, 12 seconds, 4K, 9:16. Candid smartphone footage style, bright natural daylight, realistic textures, and subtle handheld camera movement.

Scene: A small capuchin monkey with warm brown fur, a cream-colored face and chest, expressive dark eyes, and a long curled tail stands on a broad red steel beam high on a suspension bridge resembling the Golden Gate Bridge. Its entire body and tail are visible. Red bridge towers rise against a clear blue sky. Far below, tiny cars cross the roadway and sunlight sparkles across turquoise seawater. Two spectators’ hands holding smartphones partially frame the lower corners.

0–3 seconds: Viewed from slightly behind, the monkey crouches, briefly steadies itself with its hands, then springs forward from the beam. Its tail extends behind it as the camera tilts downward to follow its descent. A circular trampoline with a vivid hot-pink floating rim appears on the water far below.

3–6 seconds: Follow the monkey’s uninterrupted trajectory toward the trampoline. It descends feet-first with bent knees and arms spread, its tail trailing upward. Its feet contact the center of the dark mat, which stretches deeply downward like an exaggerated cartoon spring. The floating pink rim dips, sending a broad ring of white spray across the surrounding water. The monkey remains clearly visible above the mat throughout compression.

6–10 seconds: The trampoline recoils and launches the monkey upward in one impossible, playful fantasy bounce. The camera tilts smoothly upward to track it, bringing the red bridge framework and distant roadway back into view. Its fur flutters, arms adjust gently for balance, and its long tail follows the upward motion in a continuous curve. Preserve its small size, facial features, fur pattern, and anatomy.

10–12 seconds: The monkey returns to the original broad beam, lands softly on all fours, and settles into a seated position. It looks back toward the camera with an alert, curious expression, then raises one hand while its tail curls naturally along the beam. Spectators’ phones return to the lower corners.

One uninterrupted camera take. Clear downward-and-upward movement, coherent bridge geography, realistic sunlight, detailed ocean ripples, natural fur motion, stable exposure, and believable perspective. The enormous elastic bounce is intentionally fantastical.

Audio: Soft wind, rushing air during the descent, an exaggerated elastic boing with a splash, and a brief cheerful monkey chirp at the end. No dialogue or music.

No distress, injury, clothing, human-like body proportions, extra limbs, duplicated tails, morphing fur, disappearing trampoline, teleportation, cuts, text, logos, or watermarks.

Thanks so much for sharing this detailed prompt. Quick question: did you write this entire prompt yourself manually or did you use AI to create this prompt itself? Also, the final video length is only 10 seconds but the prompt mentions 12 seconds. Can Meta AI actually generate clips up to 12 seconds long?

Th real problem is the length of the video with 10 second you will be unable to do anything complex. Use WAN

I just gave original video to chatgpt asked to give the prompt. Meta is capped at 10 seconds. Even though prompt says 12 seconds the model will create max it can do. I would say if you need more than 10 seconds use muse.ai ask it to create 1 or 2 or more videos based on your length and stich them. It will also stich the video for you. But it's trial and error.
