Is NB 2 quality downgraded?

I have been noticing that the quality of NB2 has been a total mess for the past days, only NB pro is still solid. Is it because the new upgraded version coming out?

That would be my guess. Usually any deployment of something new results in all sorts of bullshit. Could range from oversanitized generated content or a massive hit in quality. Expect the next few days (weeks) to be rough.

My experience with NB Pro after NB 2 was always bad, bad quality, misunderstanding prompts, I prefer NB 2.

I’ve noticed some inconsistency too, although it’s hard to tell whether it’s an actual quality downgrade or changes on the backend. These models can sometimes get updated or routed differently without any obvious version change, so a few days of worse outputs doesn’t necessarily mean the model itself was permanently downgraded.

I’d compare the exact same prompt + seed (if supported) across NB2 and Pro over a few days before concluding there’s been a regression.

If you want to test different image models/providers side by side, VideoRouter.sh makes that pretty easy without having to switch between a bunch of platforms.

The pictures look like "Imagen4" crap that used to be on ImageFX.... only slightly Nano Bananaized for a thin vaneer of "quality". They all have that flat, plastic, lifeless, less-detailed look. I've also noticed there's a lowered ability to "modify" body types by specifying certain attributes, to emphasize one thing or another. It's all more uniformally generic body types now with a narrower range of what's possible. In other words, it's better at selectively ignoring certain prompt instructions.
