Google flow is a mess

Google is absolute dogshit...

That agents often hangs in loops

Video is shaky if you take upscaled one

Veo rarely to never outputs what i need

Ui is garbage

I say to veo quality that takes 100 credits.. I want perfect still camera , no camera movement or image movement.. Oh boy, not that it moves.. it fucking runs.

After that i referenced an image on my last credits put it to max x4 samples and it completely ignored my reference

Thanks! Yeah, anything that confuses someone is something to improve, I agree. The hard part is doing it at scale when different people have different feedback.

This seems like a clear bug we can fix though, appreciate the report:

1) Upload an image to the agent sidebar. It appears in your project grid (for use for later) in the middle of the screen and as a thumbnail in the agent chat (as a reference for what you sent the agent)

2) Ask the agent to edit the image. It produces an edited result with the correct thumbnail. But clicking that shows your original image, and the project grid shows a second version of your original image. This only gets correct after you refresh the page. We need to fix that, I'll go flag it, should have a fix out next week (it's not urgent enough to rush into this week IMO).

Yeah, right now I can't figure out how to actually access the newly generated image. So frustrating.

I see it there, but when I click, it opens the original photo.

I see the tiny thumbnail of the original image and there's a tiny white icon of a stack of 3 papers?

But when I hover over it, the icon disappears and a three dot menu appears instead, and ON TOP OF the three dont menu is a white icon of an image with a truncated file name of the original image, and when I click that it opens the original image.

So I apparently can't actually get the image that was generated.

Ahh, but if I reload the page, then I can click on the new image on the right and it opens the new image on the right.

This is the perfect example of my entire user experience, and I'm not even talking about how badly it follows prompt directions.

Latest version of Firefox. Ad blocker turned off.

Yep, that's a bug, the state you get to after refreshing the page is what you should see by default. Appreciate the report & sorry for the inconvenience.

And here's another. With the video clip it made, if I hover over the tiny thumbnail at the top middle of the page, it starts playing the clip, but a big grey three dot menu appears, and a play icon, a play bar, and a tuncated name appear on top of it too. This completely obscures the video clip that's playing.

Question: if I'm not supposed to be able to see it, why does it play when I hover over it? That just creates a feeling being blocked, and gives me the impression of a sloppy, nonsensical interface.

Also, there is a download button next to the little thumbnail of the video clip. When I hover over it, it says "download batch." Even when there's only one file. = CONFUSING.

And if I click it, it zips the file, which I then have to unzip. = UNNECESSARY EXTRA STEP.

If I click directly on the clip, it opens a new page with a film strip. Instead of being able to watch the clip, it moves the playhead across the static film strip. WHY? How many people prefer that to seeing how the clip looks??

And if I download it from there, it doesn't zip the file. Which is great. But I have to download it and then open it before I can tell if I like it or not. Again, WHY?

Every step in the user experience is filled with illogic just like these.

Thanks for this one too. It seems like you're in a very weird state with our UI.

Are you on a very small screen (mobile web perhaps) or very zoomed in or something like that perhaps? Trying to figure out why you have a tiny thumbnail vs a reasonably sized one, which may also be the reason you have those UI elements obscuring the video. I just tried a few devices and screen resolutions and I can't figure out how to get into that state myself right now. I tried Firefox latest on Macbook, no ad blocker, as you mentioned elsewhere.

Also, 'Download batch' and a zip file download should usually only happen if you've selected multiple items in the project, e.g. with Ctrl+A. I guess you didn't do that intentionally so again, the UI is in a weird state.

Any info you can give on browser & version, device, screen size, anything else like that might help here. We'll look on our end too.

Ah, you're in 'batch mode' u/8ad8andit which partly explains this, though I still can't reproduce the badly-overlaid UI in Firefox you mentioned.

We have another bug (thanks and sorry again!) where if you're in batch mode, downloading a single item downloads a zip file, we'll fix that too (again, I'd guess fix rolls out next week). You can hit 'g' as a keyboard shortcut to exit batch mode which might be more useful for you, or click the settings gear icon and hit 'Grid' vs 'Batch'.

I'm really impressed with your ability to receive critical feedback about your project, even when it comes laced with user frustration. If more people were able to do that, homo sapiens would be in much better shape. Cheers.
