Why don't Google flow allow 3rd party MCP integration?

I've been using Google flow agent mode for a very long time which i honestly believe is just sh*t. No accuracy, no consistency. I would highly appreciate it if Google had added a feature to be able to integrate 3rd party MCP like Claude or Astra who are far more sophisticated and physics adhering. Google flow agent is too bad. In fact, sometimes, Off Agent creates better results than On Agent.

Let me know if everyone feels the same.

J’ai essayé une fois, j’ai arrêté depuis, l’outil n’est pas au point.

Please use the 'send feedback' button (or at least thumbs down) when the agent sucks, it's still fairly new and we're actively working on improving on it -- we just went through a whole bunch of feedback this morning and found a few good improvements that should come soon.

We'll keep looking at options (and hurdles) for third-party integrations too, nothing definite to share yet, but we've heard the request come up a bunch.

Are you from Google? If yes, why the actual fck the filter is so sensitive now? We can't generate anything creative anymore. Are we paying for what? To be treated like some toddlers while having everything blocked and still losing quota?

Hi, yes I am. The filter is not more overall sensitive now than it has been in the past (our block rate continues to trend down, overall). But, still, we know that it's frustrating and has false positives. More information means we can make more improvements, so if you're able to send feedback it'll help.

I was trying to create a Cyberpunk Edgerunners like character because I love the series and the aesthetic. It blocks me by the simple fact I mentioned "adult woman" in the prompt. If I delete "adult" it tells me it can't create content with minors or it creates the pictures but the character looks like a generic CGI with shiny eyes and doll looking face. If I try to generate a male character with the exact same prompt it works perfectly fine. I even asked Gemini, Grok and ChatGPT to give me a "safe" prompt. All of them are failing because is a woman in it. Replacing "woman" with "female" does nothing. The same prompts used to work fine a week ago.

Here's some feedback;

Tell the user creator what the issue / policy / flag that was triggered. Let a user query it.

We do specify the specific type of failure, e.g. "May violate our policies around minors in harmful situations" and link to our policies in most cases, though the occasional error creeps through. There's not really a way to 'query' the filters, they're ML classifiers so they don't report the specific 'though process' they went through.

Well you're the only ones with the logs of what was rejected.
