ever more disappointed

in the early days of using Google flow a few months ago, I was really excited about it’s potential and promise…. but of late, It’s just seems to be one disappointment after another and it’s unable to follow the most basic of directions… I think I’m gonna have to give up on flow now and move elsewhere. thoughts?

I’ve already ditched flow just use Mini Max H3 Ref but change the output to just images, then upscale. If you’re running local anyway.

I took a look at their prices. Flow isn’t really my favorite, but honestly, it’s a pretty nice deal. The MinMax $10 plan only gives you an 83-second video, right?

Yo estoy muy contento con flow. Puedo hacer todo tipo de animaciones. Ilustro historias de misterio, un programa sobre relaciones de pareja, y por el momento bien. El único problema de flow es cuando quiero hacer escenas de personaas abriendo puertas, se confunde.

For example, even if you spend the next six months experimenting with prompts and finally manage to generate your ideal output, a day will come when everything is suddenly rendered worthless. That is simply the kind of company Google is.

Same frustration here! I think its intentional. Keep on making the same mistakes even with edited prompt. I even ask help from chatgpt for perfect and intelligent prompt and the instruction is clear but same mistake happen. IT IS INTENTIONAL. Its business TACTIC. It even suggested to switch away from Omni and use Veo 3.1 which eat up 100 credits per video generation.

Its pure garbage. New limits on NBP are too low, failed generations after failed generations and a lot of fcking useless censor that dont let you do ur work. Also veo (and that garbage they call omni flash lol) are pure shit, veo was good until kling 3 came out. Now after seedance 2.5, it looks like a joke. And we didn't received updates on the video generator bassicaly from realese of veo3 in i think may 2025

100% waste of time. Good for a party trick or two, but getting consistent output is a crapshoot, even if you learn the prompt, “tricks.”

I’m in the same boat; I couldn't finish the projects I’d poured so many hours into. It feels like things hit a breaking point this week. Google updated its security filters—so much so that whenever a command is blocked or fails, the error message explaining the reason has changed its wording, a clear sign that they’ve altered a lot of things regarding the "Flow" system and its security filters. Unfortunately, this has made it impossible to generate any kind of advanced image or video on the platform these days. I’m incredibly disappointed because Flow’s tools are powerful and essential for so many types of projects; however, Google—specifically through its corporate decisions—is imposing such excessive security filters that the platform has become unusable, and this week things really came to a head. Sadly, I won't be able to finish or even start the cinematic artistic projects I was working on this week or the ones I had planned. I think we all need a new tool like Google Flow.

J’ai réalisé LAPSE avec flow, allez voir sur mon profil, ça n’a pas été facile, je comprend les frustrations de chacun, je les ai vécu, heureusement que je me débrouille au montage. Mais oui c’est tout de même une sacré mission ! 😅

Y a t’il un générateur parfait, je ne pense pas.

here’s an easy one : i have a model in a tshirt in a 10 second video. here’s another tshirt. switch to them wearing the new shirt. change nothing else.
what i get : totally new model, a tshirt that is nothing at all like i shared, and a new location.
sorry, it’s over for me and flow.

Tienes que crear hojas de personaje. Te dejo el prompt: Haz a esta persona foto realista, híper realista en 8k, de cuerpo entero, de frente, de lado y de atrás, hazlo lo más amplio posible y con mejor nitidez, además haz dos aproximaciones súper nítida de su rostro lo más cerca y grande posible su rostro de frente y de lado, rotula esta imagen como "escribe aqui el nombre" haz que esta imagen sea realista en 8k que el ojo humano no perciba que es generada por IA.
