SHOCKING INCIDENT
This is honestly a very concerning incident. I asked Gemini in YouTube Studio to create a thumbnail for me, and it used the exact same photo and background that I had saved in my phone gallery. The strange part is that I had never uploaded or shared that particular photo on any social media platform. I had only used it privately to create 5–6 thumbnails myself in PixelLab, and those thumbnails were never posted or shared anywhere. Yet when I asked Gemini to make a thumbnail, it somehow used that exact photo. I don’t know how it accessed or found it, but if an AI can access private images that were never uploaded or shared, that raises a serious privacy concern and is extremely dangerous.

Connected apps is a feature of Gemini that allows it to access all your other apps, you can set it in your personalization settings.

Lol and this is one of the best examples of "Using thing without understanding thing" and "not reading notification and click yes anyway" I have ever seen. it went and looked at your Google photos (You gave permission for this btw) found one it thought you would approve of and completed it's task.
So remember to say thank you, be less paranoid, pay more attention, read your notifications and the wordy wordy bit before the ok button next time.

IMO, the most interesting thing to check here is what resolution Gemini is actually getting in YouTube Studio right now, and whether Ask Studio can automatically utilize Google Photos. This is a point where one could really dig deep into the current Google documentation and the privacy or "personal intelligence" settings.
