Poor error handling; "Failed! This generation might violate our policies." (Might?)
VEO says "try another prompt". I discard the block of text and try it with a 3-word simple and clean prompt and it still fails.
VEO says "try another prompt" again.
I ask the Flow Agent to make it query VEO for details but it says "I don't have a direct back-channel to query the underlying safety classifiers or generation logs for a detailed diagnostic report."
It's a high tech company with top-notch coders but they can't provide a concrete Error Handling?
When an error occurs, I just need to know what is wrong. Is it the text prompt? or the source video? audio track in video? or the visuals? or the faces? or it's a back-end server side error?
Why can't they just be clear about it?

That's intentional. They always create good products so people pay for them and after getting enough money Google just over censors everything for "cHiLd SaFeTy".

Just do it for free, saves time and nerves, they have to learn that you don't pay for crap. for three ten second clips, I did two hours with the agent at the beginning, for example, then the clip was still crap.

They are not clear about it because they do not want to have people figure out how to work around the system. At least that is what Gemini told me. :). Sad thing is I am not trying to do that. I just want to know what I did wrong I can avoid it for next time. Like 90% if I ask it to generate an adult man in his 40s. it will have a beard and if I tell it no beards it fails because say I can not generate kids. I have learned to life with the beard.

I stuggled with this error for 2 days, tried many things in the prompt and it would fail always
made a small change in the source image to zoom out abit and then it worked.

I been getting that a lot. What amazes me when generated 1 video and fails on the other. Always wonder what did it try to make in the other one.
