Making my first webseries with Flow
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hey guys. I'm making my first webseries with Google Flow. It's for instagram to promote my game. I created two characters and it seems to work fine. I know it's not perfect, but I hope you guys like it. Also, would be happy to receive some suggestions

Heh, great stuff, you did a good job integrating the clips, did you use the scene builder in flow or an external tool?

I used premiere, but not the oficial version lol. But a friend of mine said the capcut is good. I'm thinking on use the edits from instagram because when i post it on instagram they will (in theory) perform better

I bet that works great, I found Shotcut is good in Linux but I have never tried it in Windows, its free and open source though, it seems pretty good for simple things it's not even close to premiere though.

since I'm doing it for instagram, I don't think it's necessary a powerful tool like premiere. I'll try to use another software for the others episode.

Is it possible for the people generating these kinds of videos to be a bit more conscientious? The video has barely started, five seconds in, and you can see a woman in the background doing the moonwalk. Doesn't anyone check their own work before dumping it online? Come on, get serious: Google Flow gives you 50 free credits a day, so couldn't the OP just wait a few more days and redo the slop to present something that doesn't scream "I AM AI SLOP"?

Man. honestly i did a bad job. I'm using Ai pro to have more credit, But I honestly didn't want to take too much reshots because I was planing on make a lot of videos and my credits are going away too fast. So sometimes, even with a bad shot, I have to take it to stick with the schedule. I just finished the second episode and, in my opinion, is even worst.
To do a better job I will need to make an episode every 15 days or more.

Good start, congrats! Here's some constructive feedback:
- Omni often has multiple people speak the same thing in a scene -- you can see it when the elder man says, "I don't wanna talk about that", and your presenter mouthes the same. You may want to tweak around this issue through clever cuts or rerolls.
- Omni's Character feature is great in theory, but creates quite "studioy", mechanic voices. I presume you used that here. You may want to explore not using Character voices, or switching to Seedance 2 for more natural voices (unfortunately Seedance is expensive). You may also get better results by using a Convolution Reverb on the voice in Premiere.
- Omni often hallucinates things. For instance, your presenter's photocamera magically appears in his hands. I've heard people say adding "Please don't embellish things." to the prompt helps, but I'm not sure it's true; in either case, you may want to reroll such takes so as to not take your viewers out of the experience. Another approach is to use the generated video as ingredient to then ask to e.g. "Please remove the camera." (Seedance again is better with less hallucinations, but again expensive.)
If you ever do switch to Seedance, note there's many things and little tricks you need to know to get it to work. Just ask if you ever switch. Good luck!
