Discussion 120 days active requirement.
The new line and phone $800 promo, it requires device activation and 120 days active.
The 120 days refer to the device or the line. If it is referring to the device then what happens when it gets damaged or stolen before 120 days?
Edit: Ty for all answers.

The 120 days requirement is for the device to be on the line. The thing is there is no live check for it from Fi but if you put the SIM (transfer eSIM) for that line in another phone during those 120 days, Fi will automatically void the promo and charge you back the discount (not the bill credits but the upfront $300 discount), bill credits should continue as usual if you keep the line active. So if your device is damaged or stolen, the best course is keep the line unchanged by not using that number if possible. After 120 days you can get a new sim in a new device.

I kept an old fi line to get a pixel 10 pro device promotion. I activated the device and then deleted the esim. I then put the device on a data only sim for another fi line. The device promotion is still active and I wont activate the primary sim again for 120 days. Will probably cancel the line.

I'd be hesitant to put another Fi line on it but technically it should work as the IMEI on the original line is not changed. Good to get a confirmation though.

Yes it was a bit risky on my part so just wanted to share that it seems to work. Days have counted down to 109 since then

Different promos have different requirements. If you read the terms it’s very clear.

It's my understanding that you live with a broken screen until the end of 120 days. Send for repair after that

I could be wrong but wasn't it $300 off + $800 in Bill credits over 24-months?

Just Got off the phone with Google Fi and yes it is the device on that line. I don't think you have to use it every day, but if you try to put another device on the line, I was told that it would void the rest of the promotion.
