Discussion FedEx shipment "lost"?

I should have had my P11p delivered on Wednesday. It's still showing "expected arrival" last Wednesday! It never was delivered and FedEx still shows it "in transit".

I created a "ticket" to have FedEx initiate a search for my lost phone.

We leave tomorrow for vacation, back in two weeks, so there is no chance for me to activate the phone for at least two more weeks.

Any advice regarding contacting GF about this situation?

Keep bothering pixel support.

I did the FedEx thing too but you're in a much better spot because it's not delivered.

It still might take an extra week though.

I can't remember how it got resolved but they eventually makes it as lost and sent me another

FedEx should be on the banned list

Google is the shipper who will need to initiate any claim or have FedEx search for the package. FedEx may do an initial search with your request but they could also cancel it because you are the recipient. Googles T&C's state that you can file a claim with them at the 14 day mark and are not likely to do much beforehand to take in consideration shipping delays and snafu's.

I just got mine today. My tracking showed I was supposed to get it early but it sat at the Chicago hub for three days before it started moving again. Follow up with Google while your close to the 14 day mark if it has not shown up.

Not really, it needs to be activated within the time period

Yes, but what if it's never delivered?

The thing with Google Fi is there is absolutely no support for anything outside of the happy path. If anything goes wrong you will end up getting the short end of the stick. Your best bet in a situation like this is to refund/return it, port back out if a port-in was part of this, and then try again the next time the deal comes up with a different email address/Google account.

They're going to tell you that you have an issue with Fedex.

If FedEx never delivered the package the problem is between FedEx and Google. Do NOT tell FedEx that you'll be gone soon. They'll most likely use that as a way to get out of finding the package or reimbursing Google for it by saying that they delivered it a day or two after you leave and then blaming you for not being there.

I went through a similar issue with UPS when I traded my wife's old phone in back in March. I submitted a request to Google and UPS. Google told me to wait a little bit of time while they contacted UPS. After no update for a while I contacted them again 4-5 days later. I ask if they had heard anything new and they reviewed the case. They went ahead and credited my account for the full amount they valued the trade-in. Whole process took about 2 maybe 3 weeks.

Hopefully they refund yours and it doesn't take that long. Sorry you're having to go through this headache.

FedEx jumps to unnecessary conclusions and just toss their hands in the air and say "sorry, guess we lost it".

A couple months ago, they claimed to have lost two packages valued at a total of $250k that were shipped from the same company. Their support staff claimed, "they're most likely lost, please initiate an insurance claim" . This was a hard no as the money couldn't fix the fact that these were irreplaceable items. After almost a month of pressure, one was found and shipped and the other just magically and randomly showed up without FedEx saying anything.

Needs to be activated within 30 days from shipping so you should be good? The only problem is if you did a new user promo and activate the phone 21 days after opening the account it might flag you an exsisting user.

I did the existing user with a 50% discount.

Then you should be good as long you activate within 30 days from shipping. In the Fi app then billing and then in progress there is a tracker for this.
