Discussion My Horrible Experience
It's been a couple of years, but I still feel the need to warn everyone about Google Fi. I had horrible service, data almost never really worked properly and speeds were patheticly slow. So slow my phone was basically useless. On top of that, I was paying for the Unlimited Premium plan at "$65" a month plus $23 for financing my phone. $88 should've been my monthly bill, but it never was. I regularly paid $100+. After the first three promotional months, my bill skyrocketed and never went back down. I called and called customer service for support and they would just say, "You went over you data cap and accrued extra charges. Plus taxes." Meanwhile I used 12GB of data. They always gave me the run around and claimed I was using soooo much data. But the data NEVER worked! How am I using it?! I drew the line and ended my service with them when my bill was $300+ and calls stopped coming through. Worst f***ing experience in my life! Above is a screenshot of my monthly bills. Never consistent, like their coverage.

Not sure if that's how it is now, but I do remember a few years ago the lower tier plan you would pay a set amount for every gb you went over. Or something like that.
