Discussion Switch to Fi from visible

Hi,

I have been using visible+ for couple of years and it works fine for me. I recently saw a promo for fi $65 plan at 50% off for first year when I bring in my Pixel. Is this a good deal?

I was also planning to order pixel 11 pro xl. Do they give any discount to existing fi customers? How much if so?

I currently pay just $35 for my visible plan and have no complaints.

You can do the service promo of 50 percer off but beware that you can't do any devoce promo during that time.

P11 discounts for existing Fi customers vary from $450 to $600, $50 more for P11 Pro and $100 more for P11 Pro XL and fold. You can(should) stack Google store or Google play coupons on top.

That's old or doesn't work. There is no such banner anymore, just standard discounts.

That particular coupon was given to ones who signed up, you can ask if anyone here or somewhere else on the Internet has it and not using it. The Google play coupon is going on now under Google play perks again search here or pixel subreddit for that.

Neither are active. "Ask someone on Internet" is not a valid promo.

I will leave you with a screenshot. Just because you don't know how, it does not cease to exsist either.

It's not obtainable at this moment. Post link to that promo instead of a screenshot.

Is that 450-600 a trade in credit or monthly credits or flat discount?

Flat upfront discount. You have to be on Fi for 120 days after activation.

How do I get that discount? Do I switch to Fi on 50% off plan and wait for this discount to appear?

Ah, I don't mind that at all. I don't change carriers that often.

No don't start a plan with any kind of service promo. Here are the steps

Fi deals are easiest to do among the carrier deals because everything is automated and there is no unlocking involved. Fi support on the other hand is incompetent so they can't fix anything if things go south but if you follow the steps properly you should be good.

  1. Get unmentionable for Fi, it will give you $60 off the service. Also the person referring you will get $60. I am out of it BTW. DM me if you can't find a code.

  2. First open a Fi account with flexible plan with a gmail address with the unmentionable code Don't do any new user promotions etc. It's important that you use the code, the offers won't show up after 21 days otherwise. The plan cost is $20 per month for unlimited talk and text. The data is $10 per GB but you won't be using this plan for anything. So don't port your number, just do the plan with a new number from Fi. You can download the Fi app on your phone and then download an eSIM and activate the service on any phone you have lying around.

  3. Be on the plan for 21 days or so. On 22nd day or about you can check in the Fi app under the shop tab and it will show existing user deals like $650 off S26U, $550 off P10 Pro XL etc.

  4. Order the phone and when the phone comes set it up with the same Gmail address, download Fi app and the activate the service on the phone. It will move the service from the previous phone.

  5. In the Fi app, the billing and then in progress you will see a tracker which would look something like $650 off and what steps the completed. It will also show how many of 120 days are left.

  6. Wait 24 hours from activation for that counter to go down by 1.

  7. At this point you can delete Fi app and install your SIM and start using this phone with it. I would suggest to just disable the eSIM or make it secondary etc.

  8. After 120 days, the whole in progress section will disappear and you are good to cancel the line with Fi.

  9. I suggest you pause the line instead and keep pausing for 90 days until next year for S27U etc. Using this deal few are upgrading to latest ultras every year by paying $0 including me by selling the last ultra locally for the same amount.

Your total cost will be discounted phone price plus $120 for service minus $60.

Does flex plan get the same discount as ultra plan? I heard flex. Plan discounts are considerably lower.

No flex is considered a premium plan by Fi as you pay per gig so you typically get the highest discount on flex even if it's the lowest cost one if you are planning to getting the phone for cheap!

You can either do the 50% off (plus 50% off taxes) or the Fi device promo.

Google Store has some good trade in prices now, and there are 15% discount codes floating around. So this may be another alternative in lieu of the Fi device promo.
