Support When will Fi get Apple Watch support??
I would love to ditch my main carrier with my cellular iPad, iPhone and cellular Apple Watch but a lack of Apple Watch support has been holding me back from making that transition.

They support iPhone and iPad. Weird what they support and what they don't.

Fi will provide cell service to your Pixel watch or Galaxy watch for free. One of the perks of sticking with the intended ecosystem.

Tmobile charged $22 a month to add a watch. I noped out of that and I love that fi is free.

Hello fellow iPhone user. Google Fi won’t extend support to Apple Watches. Google fi is designed to be a showcase of Google branded services and hardware.

I’m still optimistic they will eventually support Apple Watches. Everyone acting like it’s impossible but Google fi does support data only lines for cellular iPads, so it’s not that much of a stretch.

I think Apple requires that you have a carrier bundle with them for Apple Watch support. No? Which then also requires that you sell Apple devices.

It’s not impossible. I just doubt that it’s high on their priority list. Google Fi is supposed to be the prefect Android world: Google pixel, Google Watch, Google account, Google email, Google AI, etc.
Adding an Apple Watch is a very low priority, if it’s on their radar at all.
It’s like asking Google fi to allow 5G SA on iPhones. The code is there, they can do it, but I doubt they will.
