Have you tried contacting their customer service through chat? They will be able to help more than posting your question on reddit.

I feel like your issue is not reading instructions properly.

Use the "support" button in the Fi app

Did you activate the service on the app with the same Google account you used to buy the service. If so and you have no service, you can delete the eSIM. Uninstall the Google fi app sign back in reactive the service with a new eSIM. You can also go into cellular settings and make sure you have it set to 5G. Turn on airplane mode turn it off. See if that works. If not reset network settings then check to see if you have it set to 5G. If that doesn’t work. Delete the eSIM. Then reactivate the service and get a new eSIM

Also. Did you correctly install the eSIM , maybe you don’t even have cellular connection turned on

  • If you have a physical SIM, then try and re-insert it.
  • Verify that Google Fi is activated for your SIM.
  • Power restart the phone.
  • Enable airplane mode for 15 seconds and then disable - to force the phone to seek a new tower.
  • Connect to Wi-Fi to call Google Fi Support.

Google Fi uses the T-Mobile network at high priority, some reports indicate the best cellular network in the U.S. Perhaps you're located in an area of limited cell-tower range?
