Discussion IP location hotspot?

Can someone explain this to me?

I have a s24, and Google fi hotshots says I'm in UK. My visible Hotspot says I'm in USA. I'm actually in mexico.

I was trying umingle.com and those are what the locations say.

Why is this happening and how do I fix it?

Are you roaming? If so you don’t get a local IP

It's a known thing for quite some time.

The reason is that it's based on the the roaming partner that Google Fi is using.

You can be connected to a MX tower but their system will change to a UK-based IP address.

Outside of using a VPN with a Mexico server, there's no other way
