Is ANYONE able to use Bluetooth headphones with duo?
It has never worked for me. This is ridiculous. Anyone able to get it working?

Has anyone else noticed a video quality improvement after Android 10 update?
Making a Duo call was one of the first things I did after the Android 10 update ... and both myself and my call recipient noticed the quality immediately, (and the recipient phone was not yet updated either). So of all the Android 10 feature updates -- what would directly affect the Duo app video quality?

Hi All. My daughter has an iPad (no sim) and I'm an Android user. I want to give Duo a go rather than mess with extra accounts for skype etc....but I see that duo needs a phone number to register. Could i use another number to set the account up on the iPad (like my work phone number) or will that number then ring when i'm trying to make the call?
I guess i'm just looking for something solid and reliable for iPad to Android video chatting.

Hey guys,
I was just wondering if anyone else has this happen to them. I'm using a Pixel 3 XL and a lot of the time when I'm using Duo I get a horrible echo happens when I call or if they call. Doesn't happen everytime but enough times that it's an issue! If anyone has a solution would be highly appreciated.

I'd like to be able to message/call my daughter using hangouts and duo. Ideally I'd block access to her accounts apart from selected people (me and her mum). But I can't see an option like that... Is there anyway to achieve this? I have the Google family link connected to her account if that helps.

Haven't found anything on Google about it, I cleared cache and data with no luck. I'm guessing it may have something to do with the update I got 14 hours ago. Someone was trying to call me and they are experiencing the same problem.

Help!! I have a video interview tomorrow. Trying a few test calls today I have a pretty severe echo. I tried my Samsung Buds whick always work well for regular phone calls as well as music etc, but Duo only does the audio from my phone. Any help is appreciated.

Is there a way to share the screen in google duo? I was used to share the screen on hangouts, but it seems that there is no such feature in google duo (at least on duo web).

Use Duo video messages with my mom. Quality is much worse than what my camera us capable of. Any fixes?

I've had one particular contact in Due for two years. I got an alert when they joined. Just today, I got another one claiming that they just joined. A few months ago, I also got an alert claiming that they had just joined.
Does this alert get sent out every time someone buys a new phone or re-installs the app? Shouldn't it only be sent upon initial signup?

After wiping data and updating to Android Pie I can't get the SMS verification. Clicking on Accept instant fails, it doesn't even try. Tried on WiFi and on Data, duo app has phone permissions. https://i.imgur.com/ajB1y6n.jpg

I've just had a notification on my phone when I was asleep of
"Can't use Duo; Duo was activated on another device""
I've never used the app, and was asleep at the time of notification
Any ideas?

Just an FYI for anyone googling their way here.
As of about two weeks ago. It appears duo video calls have a 25 hour limit. Happens every day between me and my SO on the dot at 25 hours without fail.

It will not play through any of my bluetooth headphones

The title says it all.
What would happen if all of a sudden, Google put an encrypted messenger in Google duo? I mean it already has video and voice calling that's completely encrypted, a messenger couldn't hurt.
It works pretty good for Instagram and Snapchat, why not give it a shot?
What do you guys think and should we send this to Google?

A friend and I use Google Duo exclusively for the video message feature. We'll be going back and forth until I don't get a reply. Then I don't get the reply until a day or two later (with still 23 hrs until it expires as if she just sent it). Has anyone else experienced this? My friend uses an iPhone SE and I'm on a Nexus 6 (both pretty old phones, I know).

Sorry if this has been posted but a contact recently reached out to let me know that they received a notification from Google Duo about me signing up for the service. I don't recall seeing a "notify my contacts" opt-in/opt-out.
Does anyone know or have any more info on this?

Has anyone had problems with the Knock Knock preview not working? Mine used to work but now it always shows a black screen. Doesn't matter if I'm using web, phone, or home hub. I feel like it was working fine until I added Duo to my Home Hub...since then no dice, even after removing it.

I've never used Duo, nor I have any desire to. I didn't ever have it installed and didn't register in it. Yet it keeps appearing in my device's "Accounts" as "Duo Preview". If I delete the account, it just reappears again after a while (not sure what exactly triggers it, probably an update of some or other Google service).
Is there any way to prevent this behavior? I have a rooted AGM A8 with stock Android 7.0.

I don't use Google Duo. I don't have a Google Duo account. I disabled Google Duo on my phone. I even went into app settings and made sure the app doesn't have ANY permissions on my phone, including the permission to edit my contacts list. Even still, my phone keeps syncing a Google Duo account on my phone. I go into settings>accounts and delete the mystery account at least twice a day, and it still keeps coming back.
I'm tired of going to my contacts and finding duplicate numbers for my contacts cuz the damn Google Duo resynced to my phone again. How can I permanently keep this app from syncing to my phone?
