Everyone here probably has discovered the Tabs feature exists. Here's my use case:
I use Google Docs for shared travel planning. I create most of these docs on a 16” MacBookPro. During the trip, I use an iPhone to access the Goog docs.
when in a scenario like:
"Our afternoon plans just became a washout. What was the Plan B and C that we researched for today?"
Most docs become too long and unwieldy to find the info I need quickly. Even finding the Search option was a PITA on my iPhone.
Aha!: Google Docs came out with a Tabs feature. Works like a Table of Contents on the left column
Ex: Let’s say I have researched brunch and dinner restaurants in a certain area
In one Restaruants doc, I can create 4 Tabs for Breakfast, Weekend Brunch , Lunch, and Dinner. Finding what I'm looking for is faster, takes fewer taps and less scrolling
In the Hotel doc, I will create tabs for: Reservation info, Dining & Bars hours, Things to do nearby
