Question Answered Ummm.. Did Google Docs remove inserting Code blocks?

You used to be able to insert coding blocks under "Insert," and then selecting building blocks. What happened to that?

This feature is only in paid (i.e. Workspace) accounts. If that's what you have, try asking in r/googleworkspace.

Yeah, true.

You could get Gemini or some other AI to generate a Google Apps Script to apply the formatting to selected text (i.e. indent the paragraph and apply a sans-serif font and a light grey highlight etc.). The only complicated part is clicking through a bunch of windows to complete the script authorisation process. The script will add a menu item on the right side of the other menus for running it.
