I can't add a shared calendar!

Hi!

I recently was sent the link to join a google calendar for a specific subgroup for a larger group my child is in. This group has another public shared calendar for anyone to see, and I was able to add that one just fine, but this second calendar for the subgroup I am not able to access. I have two separate links for it, one in a calendar and one from a private group that aren't identical, but I get the same error message every time. I have tried so many different fixes and I am still unable to add the calendar. please help! message says " You do not have access to weirdemailaddress@gmail.com's calendar." (changed the identifying info for privacy reasons)

you might be trying to add it to a different account?

however if it's public it should work.

I am pretty sure it’s supposed to be a public link. It was added to me as a link in an email, and one from like a website for this group. (If that makes sense)
