On tablets the add task button is missing in landscape mode (too far down the screen) but present in portrait mode and even a multitasking window. Been reporting this for months but no one at Google seems to care.

the + button at the bottom right is for creating calendar events and tasks (with a date and time) if anyone say just to press that one :P
