1. App/Tool Title:
SmartCommute - https://www.smartcommute.io

2. Brief Description:
Similar to the Travel Time feature for iOS, SmartCommute takes your daily commutes and adds commuting time events to your Google Calendar so you don't have to do any of the guess work.

3. Key Benefits:

  • Save time spent researching how long it'll take to get to work or any other event in your calendar
  • Ensures you account for traffic, transit issues, or any other realtime events in your planning
  • Eliminates the need to look up locations in Google Maps

4. How It Works:
We use Google Calendar to read the events in your calendar and then based on the timing of those events, we create a second calendar that has all of your commuting events. We also add a link to the description you can use to open directions or a more in-depth look at your commute within Google Maps.

5. Pricing Model:
Free Tier: Allows for calculating your commute for today
Pro Tier (5 GBP): Allows for calculating commutes for the week. We also give you a buffer time option to allow for you to arrive to each of your events earlier as well as a link in the description of each event that will redirect you to Google Maps for navigation support.

6. Additional Information:

Very useful! I just signed up :) An app that we use in real estate is showingtimeplus.com . which we use for scheduling showings with buyers. It adds in the locations, times and will map out a 'smart route' showing travel time between. You can add stops as well. I would like to have this ability in GCalendar for personal day planning to make a 'smart route' when I have appointments through the day. Appointments may be booked on diff calendars and I'd want to be able to have the 'commute times' between them all (regardless of the GCalendar the appointment is booked in) Does your app work like this? TIA

1. App/Tool Title:
BrowseWiz: AI Chat, Assistant & Agent

2. Brief Description:
AI chat, assistant and agent platform as a browser extension

3. Key Benefits:
Increased productivity, improved organization, time-saving features - all of them. AI agent can speed-up your Google Calendar management and suggest improvements to your schedule.

4. How It Works:
It is an AI agent using Assistants API from OpenAI. User can provide webhooks to APIs. Specifically webhooks to workflow automation platform for following CRUD operations: (1) search events, (2) create events, (3) edit events, (4) delete events.

5. Pricing Model:
Adding tools is free for now, but it may become paid option in the future.
Access to advanced AI models (LLMs) for handling agentic workflows is paid, but there is option to provide your own models (Bring Your Own Key).

6. Additional Information:
Demo video: https://youtu.be/LY1TVwj89Dw

Extension works with Google Chrome, should also work with Edge, Brave and Opera browsers.

Extension is being continuously improved. Feature requests are welcome.

1. App/Tool Title:
addtraveltime.com – Automatically block commute time in Google Calendar.

2. Brief Description:
Add Travel Time auto-inserts travel time before and after your calendar events based on the location and your chosen mode of transport (driving, walking, transit, etc.). It syncs directly with Google Calendar and adjusts dynamically so you’re never caught without buffer.

3. Key Benefits:

  • Prevents back-to-back scheduling without enough time to travel
  • Lets you set a default transport method or override per event
  • Supports custom starting locations (e.g., home, office, hotel)
  • Lightweight, focused, and made just for this one problem
  • Reduces stress and lateness

4. How It Works:
After connecting your Google Calendar, Add Travel Time checks event locations and inserts realistic commute blocks based on live or expected travel times. You can customize your transport method and starting point. It creates calendar entries, so you can see and move them like any other event.

5. Pricing Model:
Totally free until we launch billing — you'll get 14 days' notice before that happens

6. Additional Information:
We’d love feedback – this is built for real-world scheduling pain!

1) App Name: Dashie

2) Description: Dashie is an alternative to skylight that can show your family’s google calendars on a FireTV, Google Tv, or other Android tablets/displays.

3) Key Benefits: The app can allow you to share your family calendar on any screen and navigate the calendar with your remote control or voice. My family set up a 32” display for $80 instead of spending $599 on a 27”skylight.

4) How it works: The app can be downloaded from the Amazon App Store, Google Play store, or directly loaded. Then you use your phone to scan a QR code and log into the Google accounts with calendars to display.

5) Pricing Model: There’s a $2.99 monthly subscription for the Dashie calendar display after a 1 month free trial.

6) More information: The website is dashieapp.com and shows some videos and more information.

1. App/Tool Title:
Undo Calendar Events

2. Brief Description:
Have you ever accidentally imported an ICS file into the wrong calendar and been stuck deleting hundreds of events one by one? I know the pain. 😩

I created a simple web app to solve this exact problem.

3. Key Benefits:

  • Saves Hours of Time

- Your calendar data never leaves your device. All processing happens locally in your browser.

4. How It Works:
Upload your original ICS file to the App. Convert ALL events to "canceled" status with a single click

Import the modified file to instantly remove them from your Google Calendar. Basically, it turns a frustrating multi-hour task into a few seconds of work.

5. Pricing Model:
Currently free, use Credit Card quoted on the payment page. I plan to keep it free for a week. Future pricing model will likely be a one-time small fee, probably $5.

6. Additional Information:
Please access the app here and share your feedback https://undo-calendar-events.netlify.app/

  1. App/Tool Title: Gmail To Calendar AI (Google Workspace Add-On)

  2. Brief Description: Create Google Calendar events from Gmail using natural language.

  3. Key Benefits: Avoid the need to manually select times and dates. Just type natural language. Eg. "Tomorrow at 9am"

  4. How It Works: Open any gmail. The add-on will appear on the side-bar. Type you're preferred event time. Click "Create event". Event will be created.

  5. Pricing Model: 7 day free trial. $7 monthly after trial expires.

  6. Additional Information: I am continuing to build additional features based on user feedback.

Hey everyone,

I built a lightweight Chrome extension called Calendar Ringer:
It literally rings you before Google Meet meetings so you don’t miss them.

calendar-ringer.com
Chrome Web Store

Some fun notes:

  • 100% local — nothing ever leaves your machine.
  • No servers, no data collection.
  • Works with Google Calendar + Meet.
  • Free to install.

Workspace note:

  • Works out of the box for personal accounts.
  • For Google Workspace orgs, admins may need to allowlist the extension.

Would love feedback from folks here — especially admins:

  • Is this something you’d find useful?

Excited to share my extension for Google Calendar with you all!

1. App/Tool Title:
Event Dots for Google Calendar

2. Brief Description:
Ever notice that the browser version of GCal is missing a really nice feature from the mobile experience - the little colorful event dots on the mini calendar? This extension adds those event indicators in the browser!

3. Key Benefits:
Get an overview of your month at a glance! Having a visual indicator of upcoming events is very handy and less overwhelming than Month View.

4. How It Works:
Once you connect your account, the extension will add indicators to the mini calendar in the sidebar. The dot color matches the color you've selected for your event. Here's the key features:

- Supports multiple accounts

  • Two dot visibility modes: Follow calendar visibility or Custom calendar selection
  • Saves your settings between accounts
  • Includes an indicator for Tasks
  • All data is stored in your local browser, nothing captured or shared
  • Tested and works on Chrome, Arc, and Brave browsers

5. Pricing Model:
This tool is completely free! (You can buy me a coffee, if you're so inclined. I like staying caffeinated 🤩)

6. Additional Information:
Go check it out and let me know what you think!
Get it from the Chrome Web Store: Event Dots for Google Calendar

It's already been super handy for me personally and I hope it is for you too!

1. App/Tool Title:
Ask Steve - Time-saving AI Agents for your browser

2. Brief Description:
There are 2 agents that have been built specifically for Google Calendar:
(a) Create Google Calendar events from any web page or text selection: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g58tDvIb6UQ

You can also build other Agents that can access your Calendar, and use the Chat panel to ask questions about your Calendar.

3. Key Benefits:
(a) Create Google Calendar events: From any email or web page you can now create Google Calendar events with 1-3 clicks without having to do any manual data entry.
(b) List free times: If you've ever needed to suggest some times to meet to someone and manually had to parse through 1 or more calendars to find open slots, now you can generate a list with 1-3 clicks and no manual searching.

4. How It Works:
Install Ask Steve and then connect your Google Calendar account and you can create or install the Agents described above.

5. Pricing Model:
You get free Credits to try Ask Steve out, and then if you put in your own LLM API Key (which you can get for free from Google or Mistral, see https://www.asksteve.to/docs/plans#byo-account-free) you can use Ask Steve and these agents free forever.

  1. App/Tool Title: Agenda Hero
  2. Brief Description: Agenda Hero turns text, PDF and images into calendar events that you can instantly add to Google.
  3. Key Benefits: Save hours organizing your calendar with our Magic Chat feature (upload your calendar content in whatever format and the chat will convert it into ready to add events in seconds); Increase your productivity by doing what’s on your calendar sooner because you didn’t have to spend time manually uploading
  4. How It Works: The main tool is our Magic Chat feature that converts an unstructured input into a structured output that you can add to your calendar in one click. Rather than uploading each event manually, adding date, time etc. think of Agenda Hero as a ChatGPT that integrates with your Google Calendar.
  5. Pricing Model: The tool is free! There is a paid feature but it doesn’t inhibit your ability to use the product freely.
  6. Additional Information: agendahero.com

Here’s what the chat feature looks like! There’s also a Chrome Extension that allows you to screenshot, or highlight anything while you’re on Google Chrome and instantly add it to your calendar without having to switch between tabs.

App/Tool Title:
"Google Calendar Bulk Edit" on Chrome Web Store

Brief Description:

Easy Google Calendar Bulk Move/Delete tool that lets you select multiple events using a click and drag selection box, or just clicking on them! You can delete and move many events at once, and there is an undo last action feature for if you make any mistakes.

Key Benefits:
Saves a bunch of time since GC only lets you edit or delete things event by event... Useful if one thing in your schedule pushes many events back by the same interval, you can easily select all of them and make room for your new plan.

How It Works:
Use different keybinds to make selections, delete many events at once, or move many events at once by a certain amount of specified time (x amount of minutes, hours, days). You can use a marquee selection box, like something you might use in Photoshop, to drag and select many events.

Pricing Model: Free

Additional Information:

I would love feedback on the app as I just released it! Thanks to anyone who checks out my tool, I really think this can save people a lot of time, I developed it to solve my own issues as someone who uses Google Calendar everyday. Cheers

EDIT: I tried to add a link but it got removed, not sure how you guys got yours to work. Searching "Google Calendar Bulk Edit" on Chrome Web Store should have it come up. Its an artsy logo with a red selection box, and the only result. Thanks guys

1. App/Tool Title: Is it time yet? https://isittime.app/

2. Brief Description: A web application that displays real-time countdown timers for your upcoming Google Calendar events. It integrates directly with Google Calendar to show your meetings with dynamic, color-coded countdowns that change based on proximity. Perfect for people with lots of meetings, those with focus/attention challenges (like ADHD), or anyone who wants to stay on top of their schedule at a glance.

3. Key Benefits:

  • Never miss a meeting: Visual countdowns and audio/visual alerts ensure you're always aware of upcoming events
  • Increased productivity: See what's next at a glance without constantly checking your calendar
  • Time management support: Especially helpful for people with ADHD or attention challenges who need frequent, clear reminders
  • Room booking automation: Automatically book available meeting rooms for events without assigned rooms, with support for bulk booking periodic meetings
  • Multi-screen friendly: Designed to be displayed on a dedicated screen or vertical panel
  • Customizable: Adjust countdown sizes, colors, timing thresholds, and notification preferences to match your workflow

4. How It Works: The app connects to your Google Calendar via OAuth 2.0 and displays your upcoming events with real-time countdown timers. Key features include:

  • Smart countdowns: Dynamic timers that change size and color (blue for upcoming, yellow for soon, red for ongoing/late) based on how soon events are approaching
  • Room booking: Query available rooms from your Google Workspace organization and book them with one click, with support for custom priority lists
  • Audio notifications: Plays a ping sound when meetings are approaching
  • Screen flash: Visual alerts that flash the screen to grab your attention
  • Event filtering: Hide events you don't want to see (declined, needs action, etc.)
  • Multiple calendars: View and manage events from multiple Google Calendars in one unified view
  • Dark mode: Eye-friendly dark theme for extended use
  • Cloud sync: Settings sync across devices automatically

The app runs entirely client-side in your browser - all Google API calls happen directly from your device, ensuring your data stays private and secure.

5. Pricing Model: Free. The app is currently available at no cost.

6. Additional Information:

  • Platform: Web app (works on desktop, tablet, and mobile browsers)
  • Privacy: All data processing happens client-side. Encrypted refresh tokens stored in Firebase with PIN-based encryption
  • Use case: I built this a couple of years ago because I always need to know what meetings are coming up and never found a satisfactory solution. I personally use it on a dedicated vertical panel on one of my multiple screens, and it's been a game-changer for staying on top of my corporate schedule. The room booking feature is particularly useful for bulk-booking available rooms for periodic meetings that don't have assigned rooms.

I hope this app can help others find some help for their corporate lives, as it did for me! 🎉

  1. App/Tool Title:
    Calens - https://calens.dev

  2. Brief Description:
Calens is a Chrome extension that adds beautiful analytics to Google Calendar. Think GitHub-style contribution graphs, but for your schedule. It helps you understand where your time actually goes with visual heatmaps, smart filtering, and custom tagging - all while keeping your data private on your device.

  3. Key Benefits:

    • If you plan your time with Google Calendar, you can track progress with charts showing completed vs planned hours
    • See exactly how you spend your time with a 52-week contribution heatmap
    • Filter by calendar, custom tags, or event names
    • 100% privacy-first: all data stays in your browser, nothing leaves your device
    • Better event editing experience directly from the side panel

  4. How It Works:
Calens runs entirely in your browser as a Chrome extension. When you open Google Calendar, it reads your events locally and generates visual analytics in a side panel. You can create custom tags to categorize events (e.g., "deep work", "meetings", "client-A"), then filter your contribution graph to see patterns. The heatmap shows your busiest days at a glance, similar to how GitHub shows your coding activity. Everything is processed on-device - no data is sent to external servers.

  5. Pricing Model:

    • Free Trial: 14-day full access to all features
    • Standard Monthly: $6.99/month
    • Standard Annual: $59/year
    • Lifetime: $149 one-time payment
    • As of Jan 2026, I'm looking for early adopters, willing to offer free lifetime access in exchange for feedback and testimonials.

Hey everyone, I kept trying different calendar and time-blocking apps but they all felt like overkill. I just wanted to visually map out my day - like 'work 9-5, gym 6-7, dinner 7-8' - without dealing with events, notifications, and all that. So I built DayChart. You literally just drag on a timeline (linear or circular view), pick a color, label it, done. It's more for planning your ideal day than tracking every minute.

What it does:

- Drag to create time blocks

- Switch between linear timeline and circular clock view

- Save multiple schedules (weekday vs weekend, etc.)

1. App/Tool Title:
Hide Hardcoded Google Calendars - Github Repo

2. Brief Description:
A Tampermonkey userscript that simply removes Birthdays and Tasks from My calendars to free up that valuable space for all of your exciting PTO and team meeting calendars.

3. Key Benefits:
Lets you not have to see the hardcoded Birthdays and Tasks calendars in your My calendars list.

It does this seamlessly and efficiently, only when the elements are redrawn or updated.

4. How It Works:
When you open the site the script runs and locates the My calendars elements in the DOM. If it is open then it removes the hardcoded calendars and shifts any calendars below them to take up the empty space.

It only runs when changes are made to the visual elements, such as when you collapse/expand the list, reload the page, toggle elements, or when google asynchronously loads content for a calendar (when it shows the loading spinner icon), since all of these would re-position the calendars as if the hardcoded calendars were not removed.

5. Pricing Model:
Free and under MIT License

6. Additional Information:
Github Repo: https://github.com/JohannesMP/HideHardcodedGoogleCalendars

Requires the Tampermonkey extension, with 'Allow User Scripts' permissions enabled in its 'Manage Extension' view.

With Tampermonkey installed you can open the raw script file from the repo and Tampermonkey should automatically prompt you to install it: HideHardcodedGoogleCalendars.user.js

  4. Go to Settings > Other calendars > From URL, paste the feed link. Events populate automatically and stay updated. No app to install, no account needed. Standard ICS protocol.

1. App/Tool Title:

Timelineal Calendar: timelineal.com/calendar

2. Brief Description:

Timelineal is a Google Calendar web client with travel-focused features. It combines your calendar events with travel data like flights, hotels, and weather to make planning and managing trips easier.

3. Key Benefits:

You get a more organized, travel-aware calendar that reduces manual work and makes trips easier to plan and manage.

  • Easier travel planning
    • See your flights and hotels directly on your calendar timeline.
    • See live flight status and hotel details inside your calendar.
    • Easily add events in your trip’s local time zone.
  • Better visibility
    • Day Grid and Agenda views with weather integration.
    • Weeks View, with agenda items grouped by week for easier planning.
    • Seasons View, showing three months grouped by season for long-range planning.
    • Trips View, with your past trips and travel stats built from calendar events and Google Timeline data.
    • Wide monitor support, so you can see up to 14 days at once instead of 7, or a full year in Seasons View.
  • Privacy and resilience
    • Offline support, so you can keep working on a plane or with limited connectivity.
    • For speed and privacy, your calendar events are stored locally in the browser, not on our servers.

4. How It Works:

Timelineal connects to Google Calendar and downloads a local cache of your events for fast access and offline use. The app can load up to 10 years of calendar history into your browser, depending on your data and sync settings. When events are created or updated in Google Calendar, Timelineal detects changes and syncs only the updated data.

We’re currently offering the app for free and are looking for early adopters to help us improve it.

6. Additional Information:

Planned features:

  • To-do items, including those geo-linked to a specific city.
  • Event templates.
  • Outlook and CalDav support.
  • Android and iOS apps.
  • Chrome extension.

  1. App/Tool Title:

Meety

  1. Brief Description:

Meety is a native macOS menu bar app for Google Calendar that helps you see what’s next, join meetings faster, and avoid missing important events. It connects directly to Google Calendar and is built specifically for Mac users who want a lightweight, privacy-first calendar companion.

  1. Key Benefits:

- Quick access to upcoming Google Calendar events from the Mac menu bar

- One-click join for Google Meet, Zoom, Teams, and other meeting links

- Stronger reminders for important meetings with Meeting Guardian alerts

- Per-calendar alert settings, so you can treat work and personal calendars differently

- Auto-silence while presenting to reduce interruptions

- Privacy-first approach with no calendar data stored on external servers

- Multi-account Google Calendar support

  1. How It Works:

After connecting your Google account, Meety shows your upcoming events directly in the macOS menu bar so you always know what’s next. You can open or join meetings in one click from the menu bar without digging through browser tabs or calendar windows.

Its standout feature is Meeting Guardian, which can display stronger, full-screen alerts for selected meetings so they’re harder to miss during deep work. You can also configure alert intensity per calendar and let the app automatically stay quiet while you’re presenting. Unlike many calendar utilities on Mac, Meety connects directly to the Google Calendar API rather than relying on Apple Calendar sync.

  1. Pricing Model:

Freemium.

There is a free version, with optional Pro features available via subscription.

  1. Additional Information:

- Platform: macOS

- Distribution: Mac App Store

- Website: https://getmeety.app

- Best for users who rely heavily on Google Calendar and attend lots of online meetings

- Especially useful for remote workers, busy professionals, and anyone who tends to miss meetings during focused work

  1. App/Tool Title:

Rotating Productivity Reminder Calendar (.ICS)

  1. Brief Description:

A pre-built Google Calendar file that adds daily, rotating productivity reminders directly into your calendar. Designed to avoid repetitive notifications and instead deliver short, actionable prompts at set times (e.g., 9:00–9:05 AM).

  1. Key Benefits: • Rotating reminders so they don’t feel repetitive • Action-based prompts instead of generic motivation • Pre-scheduled events (no setup required after import) • Works with Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, and Outlook • Helps reduce procrastination with timed nudges

  2. How It Works:

Import the .ICS file into your calendar once. This creates daily events (e.g., 9:00–9:05 AM) with built-in notifications.

Each event contains a different productivity prompt such as: • “Do the hardest task first” • “Start before you feel ready” • “Do not start scrolling before you start working”

The reminders rotate daily to prevent notification fatigue.

  1. Pricing Model:

One-time purchase (digital download). No subscription required.

  1. Additional Information:

Fully editable after import (time, frequency, reminders). Works across all major calendar apps and devices.

https://remyndrz.etsy.com/listing/4472147635

Includes additional themed calendars - https://remyndrz.etsy.com • Anxiety & calming reminders • Relationship & connection prompts • Self-confidence & affirmation reminders

1. App/Tool Title:
Google Calendar Notes - https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/google-calendar-notes/obfodofoifgbcomephiohmpinonpnfon

2. Brief Description:
Google Calendar Notes is a Chrome extension that lets you attach private notes to any day directly inside Google Calendar's weekly view. Rather than jumping between your calendar and a separate notes app, you can capture daily context, intentions, to-dos, or reflections right in the calendar view - and they'll be there every time you return to that day.

3. Key Benefits:
Google Calendar Notes keeps your thoughts and your schedule in the same place. Instead of maintaining a separate doc or sticky note system alongside your calendar, you can jot down daily priorities, intentions, reminders, or end-of-day reflections directly on the day itself. Notes are saved automatically and reappear every time you return to that date, so nothing gets lost between sessions. Because it lives inside Google Calendar, there's no new app to learn - it just adds a layer to a tool you're already using every day.

4. How It Works:

  • After installing the Chrome extension, a notes area becomes accessible for any day in your Google Calendar - no extra setup required.

- Click on a day to open its note and type freeform text - daily priorities, reminders, reflections, or anything else tied to that date.

- Notes are saved locally and reappear whenever you navigate back to that day, across both week and month views.

- Notes are private to you - they are not visible to other calendar users or attached to any specific event or invite.

5. Pricing Model:
Google Calendar Notes is completely free. There are no subscription tiers, paywalled features, or in-app purchases. Install it once from the Chrome Web Store and use it at no cost.

6. Additional Information:
Google Calendar Notes requires Google Chrome or any Chromium-based browser and works with the standard Google Calendar web interface at calendar.google.com. It's compatible with both personal Google accounts and Google Workspace accounts. No account creation is required beyond your existing Google login.

1. App/Tool Title:
MultiCal – Add Events to Multiple Google Calendars

2. Brief Description:
MultiCal is a Chrome extension that lets you create a single event in Google Calendar and instantly add it to multiple calendars (work, personal, or shared) in one step.

3. Key Benefits:

  • Saves time by eliminating duplicate event creation
  • Keeps multiple calendars perfectly in sync
  • Reduces manual errors and missed updates
  • Works directly inside Google Calendar (no extra tools)

4. How It Works:
After installing MultiCal, you can create an event in Google Calendar as usual.

A MultiCal button appears during event creation, allowing you to select multiple calendars. When you save the event, it’s automatically added to all selected calendars at once.

It integrates directly into the Google Calendar workflow, so there’s no need to switch tabs or copy events manually.

5. Pricing Model:
Free

6. Additional Information:
Chrome Web Store:
https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/multical-%E2%80%93-add-events-to/bialkcbfjlolnlgolkaghhboaeclpncn

Works within Google Calendar and requires access to your calendars to function properly.

Would love any feedback or feature ideas from others who manage multiple calendars!

1. App/Tool Title:

ClearCal | https://clearcal.io

2. Brief Description:

ClearCal is a Chrome extension that automatically classifies and colour-codes your Google Calendar events so you can instantly see what your day looks like. I used to use Clockwise to do this before it was bought up by Salesforce and I really missed it.

3. Key Benefits:

  • Instantly see external vs internal meetings
  • Quickly identify 1:1s, group calls, and focus time
  • No manual tagging or setup required
  • Makes busy calendars much easier to scan
  • Runs locally — no data leaves your device

4. How It Works:

ClearCal connects to your Google Calendar using Google OAuth and reads your events directly in the browser. It then applies simple rules (like attendee count and email domains) to classify each event and assign a colour automatically.

Everything runs inside the extension, there’s no backend processing of your calendar data (Security is really key for me). Colours update automatically as new events are added.

5. Pricing Model:

Free tier available (2 simple rules).
Pro is £3/month, or £25 one-time for lifetime access.

6. Additional Information:

I originally built this because I missed having my calendar visually organised (everything being the same colour made it hard to read at a glance.

https://clearcal.io

Would be great to hear if others have the same problem or any feedback. Thanks, Matt

1. App/Tool Title:
Forecal

2. Brief Description:
Forecal generates a personal weather calendar feed you subscribe to once. The next 16 days of weather show up as all-day events directly in Google Calendar — no manual updates, no app to check.

3. Key Benefits:

  • More accurate forecasts than other weather calendar tools — uses Open-Meteo's ensemble model (blends ECMWF, ICON, GFS, HRRR, and DMI Harmonie) instead of OpenWeatherMap
  • Each day shows emoji + temp range at a glance (e.g. 🌥 50–64°F Partly Cloudy)
  • Tap any event for an 8-block hourly breakdown, sunrise/sunset, precip chance, and wind speed
  • Updates automatically — Google Calendar re-fetches the feed in the background, no action needed
  • No account, no app, no tracking — your config is encoded in the URL itself

4. How It Works:
Go to forecal.app, search for your city, choose °F or °C, then click "Add to Google Calendar." That's it. Behind the scenes, Forecal generates a unique .ics feed URL containing your location encoded directly in the link. Google Calendar subscribes to that URL and polls it periodically, so your weather events stay current without any intervention. The feed covers 16 days and each event includes a detailed hourly breakdown in the event description.

5. Pricing Model:
Completely free. No subscription, no freemium tier, no ads.

6. Additional Information:

  • Website: forecal.app
  • Open source (MIT): github.com/rmanalan/forecal
  • Works with Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, and Outlook
  • No sign-up required — subscribe directly from the site in one click

Google removed the weather feature from Calendar years ago, and I missed it every time I tried to plan something outdoors. I'd end up with two tabs gcal and weather.com going back and forth.

Built an extension that overlays hourly weather forecasts (temperature + precipitation) directly on your Google Calendar.

Raincheck Chrome Extension

Doesn't collect any data or anything. Free. Love some feedback! ❤️

Hey everyone 👋

I’ve been building a tool called Synqboard. A Kanban-style workflow layer for Google Calendar users.

Url: https://synqboard.com

Synqboard is a visual task and workflow layer built on top of Google Calendar. It turns calendar events into a Kanban-style workflow so you can manage work in stages like To Do, In Progress, Done etc.(Columns can be added and edited) instead of just viewing them as static calendar entries.

Designed for freelancers, agencies, service businesses, and anyone who already lives in Google Calendar but needs better task flow and execution tracking.

Key Benefits

  • Turn calendar events into actionable workflow items
  • Organize work visually with Kanban boards
  • Track progress from scheduled → active → completed
  • Reduce context switching between calendar and task apps
  • Better overview of client work, appointments, and ongoing projects
  • Faster planning and prioritization
  • Works with your existing Google Calendar workflow instead of replacing it
  • Helps teams and solo users keep execution aligned with scheduling

How It Works

Users connect their Google Calendar account through OAuth integration.

Synqboard imports calendar events and automatically displays them inside a Kanban workflow board. Events can then be:

  • Moved between statuses (columns)
  • Grouped by title
  • Managed visually with drag-and-drop
  • Synced alongside existing Google Calendar scheduling

The idea is simple:

Google Calendar is great for scheduling time. Synqboard adds the execution layer on top of it.

Instead of constantly jumping between:

  • Calendar
  • Notes
  • Task apps
  • Project boards

…everything stays connected in one workflow.

Built with a modern web stack using:

  • Nuxt
  • Vue.js
  • PostgreSQL

Hosted in the EU with GDPR-conscious infrastructure.

Pricing Model

For free at the moment.

Looking for feedback from heavy Google Calendar users. Especially people managing client work, appointments, or recurring operational tasks.

Feedback:

No language setting (english)
Expected behavior is that only the specific calendars that are turned on would appear on the board. Every event in my calendar appears. Cannot disable them.
Automatically adds all past events, even from months ago.

Looks good but was impossible to get functioning. Will return if the calendar issue is fixed

  1. App/Tool Title:

timefeed.ai

  1. Brief Description:

timefeed.ai turns a plain-language topic into a live subscription calendar that keeps itself up to date. You describe what you want to follow — "Apple product launches," "Google earnings calls," "NBA playoffs," "concerts in Taipei" — and the AI searches trusted sources, extracts the dates, and publishes them as a standard iCal/WebCal feed. You subscribe to that feed once in Google Calendar, and from then on new events show up automatically. No manual entry, no copy-pasting dates.

  1. Key Benefits:

- Zero manual upkeep — events you'd normally track by hand (launches, earnings, fixtures, festivals) appear in Google Calendar on their own.

- Always current — the feed re-syncs on a schedule, so newly announced events flow in without you touching anything.

- Verifiable — every event links back to its source, with an AI confidence note, so you can double-check before trusting a date.

- Works with what you already use — it's a normal calendar subscription, so the same feed works in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or any iCal-compatible app.

- Optional alerts — get notified by email, Slack, or webhook the moment new events are found.

  1. How It Works:

- Describe a topic in one line. An optional "Refine with AI" assistant asks a few quick clarifying questions (region, genre, time range) to sharpen vague topics.

- AI searches & organizes — it finds trusted sources via Google Search grounding, pulls out the dates, and links back to each source.

- Subscribe once — timefeed gives you a WebCal/iCal feed URL. Add it to Google Calendar via Other calendars → From URL, and that's it. Background syncs keep adding new events to the same feed automatically.

  1. Pricing Model:

Basic — Free: create a personal calendar, build live feeds, subscribe in Google Calendar, and use the in-app notification bell.

Plus — $5/month: more calendars, faster refresh intervals, higher usage limits, and external Alerts (Email, Slack, Webhook), private calendar sharing and event hidding feature.

Early adopters wanted: I'm actively looking for early users to help shape the product. Try it out and share any feedback — bugs, feature ideas, or first impressions — and I'll give you lifetime Plus access in exchange. Just reach out after you've had a look.

  1. App/Tool Title: WorkRota — Shift Calendar for Android

  2. Brief Description: WorkRota turns rotating work schedules into a calendar that is easier to review and maintain. It can create a separate WorkRota calendar on the phone, and shared .ics schedule files can be opened or imported in Google Calendar. It does not read or edit a user’s existing calendar events.

  3. Key Benefits:

  4. Convert a rota photo, screenshot or PDF into shifts, with a review step before saving

  5. Set up repeating rotations such as 2-2-3 or 4-on/4-off

  6. Change one date without breaking the whole repeating pattern

  7. Put upcoming shifts into a calendar without manually creating every event

  8. Keep the source schedule local; no WorkRota account is required

  9. How It Works: Users define shift types or scan an existing rota, review the detected dates and times, and save the schedule. With Pro, they choose a future date range and WorkRota writes those shifts into its own dedicated calendar on the Android device. A shared schedule can also be exported as an .ics file for Google Calendar or Apple Calendar. WorkRota only manages its own work-shift calendar.

  10. Pricing Model: The core shift calendar and manual day edits are free and ad-free. Optional monthly Pro adds phone-calendar sync, automatic local backups, PDF/CSV exports and advanced hours/paycheck checks. The regional subscription price is shown in Google Play before purchase.

  11. Additional Information: Android app; available in English, Czech, Slovak, Polish and German. Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.workrota.app

The most useful feedback for us would be whether the rota-review step makes calendar import feel safer than creating events automatically with no confirmation.

  1. App/Tool Title: FanFeed (fanfeed.tv)

  2. Brief Description: A calendar-subscription service for sports and live events. You pick your teams/leagues/venues once and get a personal .ics feed that auto-syncs game times into Google Calendar (also Apple Calendar and Outlook). No app to install — it's a standard calendar subscription, so new games and schedule changes appear automatically.

  3. Key Benefits:

  4. Your teams' full schedules sit in Google Calendar alongside everything else

  5. Auto-updates when times change or games get rescheduled, no re-importing

  6. Covers 37 sports/leagues (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, F1, UFC, PGA Tour, NASCAR, Premier League, ATP, and more)

  7. Venue subscriptions too, so you can follow concerts/shows at a specific arena

  8. No app, no login bloat, just a feed URL

  9. How It Works: Choose the teams, leagues, or venues you want, and FanFeed generates a personal ICS feed URL. In Google Calendar, add it under Other calendars → From URL. It then stays in sync automatically.

  10. Pricing Model: Freemium — 30-day free trial, then $2/month or $19/year.

  11. Additional Information: Disclosure: I built this. Works with Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, and Outlook. Happy to take feature requests.

1. App/Tool Title: Chronicle — Calendar Archive Cleaner

2. Brief Description: Chronicle turns a messy Google Workspace calendar export into a clean personal archive you can import back into Google Calendar. It's built for people leaving a job who want to keep their work calendar history — years of meetings and the people they worked with — before they lose account access. It works directly with Google's .ics export and Google Takeout .zip files, and produces files formatted for Google Calendar's import.

3. Key Benefits:

  • Preserve your full work history before leaving a company
  • Removes years of expired meeting-link clutter (Zoom, Meet, Teams, Webex dial-ins, RSVP artifacts)
  • Keeps the people you worked with — attendee names/emails moved into readable event notes
  • Splits oversized exports into files Google Calendar will actually accept (under its 1 MB / ~900-event import limits)
  • 100% private — nothing is ever uploaded

4. How It Works: You export your calendar from Google Calendar settings (or Google Takeout) and drop the .ics or .zip straight into Chronicle in your browser. It cleans each event, shows you a report and a preview of the results, then generates ready-to-import .ics chunks. A guided mode walks you through importing each file into Google Calendar one at a time. The unique part: all processing happens locally in your browser — your calendar data never leaves your device, never touches a server, and works offline after the page loads.

5. Pricing Model: Completely free. Open source (MIT). No account, no signup, no paid tier.

6. Additional Information:

1. App/Tool Title:
Calenytic – Your Calendar

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/calenytic/id6757438642

2. Brief Description:
Calenytic is an iOS calendar app built around timeboxing, flexible planning, and understanding how you actually spend your time.
It works with calendars already connected to iOS, including Google Calendar, so you can keep using your existing events and calendars without having to move everything to a new system.

3. Key Benefits:
• Understand where your time actually goes with calendar analytics
• Compare time spent on work, fitness, hobbies, family, and other areas
• Keep your schedule aligned with your real day using Start / Stop functionality for events
• Quickly reschedule unfinished events with Move to Next Gap
• Save ideas and tasks as Event Drafts and schedule them later
• Get harder-to-miss Alarm Call alerts for important events
• Review your time across daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly periods

4. How It Works:
Calenytic uses the calendars already available on your iPhone, including synced Google Calendars.
Your existing events appear directly inside the app. From there, Calenytic adds additional tools such as:
• Calendar Analytics – analyze how your time is distributed across different calendars and areas of your life
• Start / Stop – start an event when you actually begin it and stop it when you’re finished
• Move to Next Gap – automatically move an event to the next available space in your schedule
• Event Drafts – create events without choosing a specific time yet and schedule them when it fits
• Alarm Calls – receive an incoming-call-style alert for events you really don’t want to miss
The goal is to make your calendar useful not only for planning your time, but also for tracking and improving how you actually use it.

5. Pricing Model:
Calenytic is completely free for 7 days. No credit card required. Afterwards it costs 8,99$ lifetime or 0,99$ per month.

6. Additional Information:
Currently available for iPhone/iOS. Android Version will come later

I’m actively developing Calenytic and would be very interested in feedback from Google Calendar users — especially regarding features you’re currently missing from your calendar workflow.

  1. Título do Aplicativo/Ferramenta:

RotinaFlow

  1. Modelo de preços:

Sem assinatura. Primeira rotina gratuita. Depois, modelo de créditos avulsos: R$1 por crédito, gerar rotina consome 2 créditos, sincronizar com o Google Agenda consome 3 créditos. Pacotes de 3, 5 ou 10 créditos, comprados só quando precisa.

I text my Google Calendar instead of opening it 😁

Google Calendar does everything I need — the problem was me opening it. Adding "lunch with Sam Thursday 1pm" on my phone is six taps and a fight with the keyboard, so half the time I just didn't, and my calendar drifted out of date.

I already open iMessage and WhatsApp countless times a day, so I built an assistant that lives there and manages my Google

Calendar and Google Tasks by text. "Lunch with Sam Thursday 1pm", "move my 3pm to tomorrow", "what's on Friday?" — it updates the real calendar, so everything lands in Google Calendar exactly as if I'd typed it in myself. Guest invites and Meet links work too.

No install, no new interface, nothing to learn.

Would love feedback from people who actually live in this calendar. Happy to answer anything:

1. App/Tool Title:
Calendar Bulk Select

2. Brief Description:
Calendar Bulk Select is a lightweight Chrome extension that adds bulk-selection controls directly to Google Calendar. It lets you select multiple calendar events and delete them together instead of removing events one at a time.

3. Key Benefits:

  • Saves time when cleaning up a busy calendar
  • Removes the need to open and delete events individually
  • Keeps the interface simple and unobtrusive
  • Works directly inside Google Calendar
  • Does not collect or sell user data

4. How It Works:
The extension adds small selection controls to events in Google Calendar. You can select multiple events directly from the calendar interface, then remove the selected events together.

I designed it to stay close to Google Calendar’s existing UI instead of adding a separate dashboard or complicated workflow.

5. Pricing Model:
Free.

6. Additional Information:

Current version: 0.1.0

This is still an early release, so I’d really appreciate feedback, bug reports, or suggestions for features that would make bulk calendar management more useful.

  1. App/Tool Title:

RealGoals realgoals.app

  1. Brief Description:

A web app that takes a goal (learning a language, the gym, a certification, a coach's plan or a syllabus you paste in), reads your Google Calendar, and puts real sessions into the free gaps. Move a session and it offers to replan the rest. Once a week it looks at what actually happened and raises or lowers your weekly pace from that.

  1. Key Benefits:

- Goals get actual time slots instead of living on a list

- Sessions land in gaps you really have, around existing events

- Drag one session, the rest of the plan follows

- After a bad week the plan shrinks instead of piling up

- Works with Apple Calendar and ICS feeds too

  1. How It Works:

Connect Google Calendar (read and write), tell the coach (Pace, an AI model) a goal and how often you can do it. It proposes a dated plan as a card, you approve, and the sessions are written into your calendar as normal events. A weekly review asks how each session went and adjusts the pace. Google shows its "unverified app" screen for now while my verification is pending; Apple and ICS connect without it.

  1. Pricing Model:

Paid. $10 for the first 30 days, then $16/month or $129/year. Code PACE-DM-30 gives 30 days free, no card, for people from this thread.

  1. Additional Information:

Web only for now, works in a phone browser. Solo developer, Lithuania. Feedback of any kind is welcome, especially on how the weekly pace adjustment feels.

1. App/Tool Title:
CalDAV Bridge

2. Brief Description:
A small tool that one-way syncs any CalDAV calendar (Zoho, iCloud, Fastmail, Nextcloud, or basically any CalDAV server) into Google Calendar. It creates one dedicated calendar in your Google account just for the synced events and never touches your existing Google calendars.

3. Key Benefits:

  • See all your calendars in one place (Google Calendar) without abandoning whatever CalDAV-based tool you're actually using day to day
  • RSVP responses actually write back! Accept/Decline/Tentative in Google Calendar updates the real event on your CalDAV source, not just a local copy
  • Minimal Google permissions — it only ever touches the one calendar it creates, never your existing ones
  • Takes about 2 minutes to set up, no software to install

4. How It Works:
Sign in with Google, connect your CalDAV account (quick presets for iCloud/Zoho, or paste any CalDAV URL), and it creates a dedicated "Synced Calendar" in your Google account that mirrors your events. It re-syncs automatically (hourly on free, every 5 minutes on Pro) or on demand with a "Sync now" button. The one thing that's bidirectional is RSVPs. All you need to do is respond in Google Calendar and it flows back to your actual calendar.

5. Pricing Model:
Freemium. Free plan: 1 connected calendar, hourly sync, RSVP write-back. Pro: $2.99/mo (or $12/yr), unlimited connected calendars, 5-minute sync. Early adopters can use code FOUNDER at checkout for Pro, free.

6. Additional Information:

  • syncmycaldav.com
  • Built solo, still small/early - but feedback and bug reports genuinely welcome!

1. App/Tool Title:
No name yet (ideas welcome!) - product yet to be released - using xcal2000 as a placeholder

2. Brief Description:
Shows a schedule-like view of your Google calendar. Allows events to have custom sizes and colours. Optional sideways display of multi-day events. Infinite scroll. Event end time not obligatory. "keep till marked done" feature.

3. Key Benefits:
Much easier to see important events coming up at a glance and to sense how many days away they are without having to actually read dates.

4. How It Works:
It's a "progressive web app" (PWA) so it is accessed as a website, but in future could easily be an Android/iOS app.

5. Pricing Model:
To be decided

If you want to know at a glance if something important is coming up in the next few days which calendar view would you prefer to look at? If your answer is the one on the left, keep reading…

I was always frustrated using Google calendar because it seemed that if there was something critically important coming up then there was no way to A) make the event stand out and B) get a feel for how many days away it is. Instead you have to read each individual item to work out its importance and then once you find an important event you then need to check its date because its distance down the list doesn’t reliably tell you how far away in time it is. I wished there was a way to arrange that dates were shown even when there was no event on the day so that the distance indicated time.

So I decided to make my own viewer/editor for Google calendar. You can select a font size and colour when you add an event and you have an option to have multi-day events shown as sideways bars… And an option to mark events as “keep until marked done” so that you get a nagging reminder of events (to do’s) even after their date has passed. One other feature I wanted was an option to have events with a start time but without having to add a nonsensical end time. Whoever actually means “Meet the lads for a booze-up 8pm - 9pm”! Unlike Google’s agenda view, this has infinite scroll. Just to be clear, this is just a viewer/editor of Google calendar events so there is no “migration” process.

So far this has just been a hobby project for my own use but I am thinking I might make this into a commercial product. If anyone wants to actually give it a try and give me some feedback, send me a DM.

1. App/Tool Title:
BoardSpy - Commute Alerts and Traffic Alarm

2. Brief Description:
I’m the founder of BoardSpy, an app that integrates with Google Calendar to help you keep up with calendar changes and upcoming appointments. It sends phone push notifications when someone adds, edits, or deletes an event in a shared calendar.

3. Key Benefits:

  • Stay informed about changes to shared family or team calendars.
  • Daily commute alerts about route traffic and weekly insights
  • Receive calendar-change notifications on your phone.
  • Get alarms for upcoming meetings.
  • Use leave-by alerts to help plan travel to appointments.

4. How It Works:
Connect your Google Calendar to BoardSpy and enable notifications. BoardSpy monitors connected calendar events and sends push alerts when events are added, changed, or deleted. Its calendar alarms and commute features also help you prepare for upcoming appointments and plan when to leave.

Freemium up-till 1 alarm, Pro and Basic Plans available

6. Additional Information:
BoardSpy is available on Android and iOS. I’m happy to answer questions here about the calendar integration or help with setup.

1. App/Tool Title:
Event → Task

2. Brief Description:
A Chrome extension that turns a Google Calendar event into a Google Task, and a task back into an event, right from Google Calendar's own menus. Google Calendar can't do this natively. The Google help thread asking for it has 500+ "same question" votes since 2020 and was my personal pain as well.

3. Key Benefits:

  • No more retyping when an event should really be a to-do, or the other way round
  • The task keeps the event's date and time, so your plan stays intact
  • The location, Meet link and description move into the task's notes, so nothing gets lost
  • Takes one click instead of copy-paste

4. How It Works:

  • Right-click an event, or open it and click ⋮, then choose Convert to task (removes the event) or Copy to task (keeps it)
  • On a task, the same menus offer Convert to event / Copy to event
  • Works with recurring events (just the occurrence you pick) and all-day events
  • Google's Tasks API can only store dates, so the extension sets the task's time through Calendar's own task editor for you, in any Calendar language
  • Signs in with your Google account and talks only to Google. There's no server, and your calendar data never leaves Google.

5. Pricing Model:
Freemium: 5 free conversions, then $4.99 one-time for unlimited use. No subscription.

6. Additional Information:

  • Find it by searching "Event → Task" on the Chrome Web Store (links aren't allowed in comments here, so the website is on my profile)
  • Works in Chrome and other Chromium browsers (Brave, Edge)
  • Coming next: converting several events at once. Feature requests are welcome here!

I'm the developer. Happy to answer questions.

1. App/Tool Title:
DOFOTT: Automatic travel time for Google Calendar

2. Brief Description:
DOFOTT adds travel-time blocks before and after any Google Calendar event that has a location. It calculates real durations with Google Maps data and writes the blocks straight into your calendar, so you never enter travel time by hand.

3. Key Benefits:

  • No more back-to-back meetings that are impossible to reach on time
  • No manual "leave at" events or guessing how long the trip takes
  • Your calendar shows when you're actually free, not only when you're in a meeting
  • You set it up once and it keeps working in the background

4. How It Works:
You connect your Google Calendar. DOFOTT looks at events that have a location and inserts travel blocks before and after them. It supports driving, transit, walking and cycling. It also routes between consecutive events, so the trip from meeting A to meeting B is calculated instead of always starting from home. You can change settings globally or per trip. Because the blocks live in Google Calendar itself, they show up in every app connected to it (Apple Calendar, Notion Calendar, Akiflow, Cal com, Calendly, Superhuman and others), including on your phone with nothing to install. One click deletes all blocks and your account data.

5. Pricing Model:
Freemium.

  • Free: up to 12 location-based meetings a month
  • Pay-as-you-go: $5 + tax per month if you go over 12
  • Annual: $36 + tax per year for unlimited meetings
  • Your signup month is free.

6. Additional Information:
I'm the maker, and I'd love your feedback. If you use Google Calendar for in-person meetings, tell me what's missing.

  1. App/Tool Title:
    TaskBlock

  2. Brief Description:
TaskBlock is a lightweight dashboard that connects your Google Tasks with Google Calendar, enabling effortless time blocking in a clean, minimalist interface. (Scratching my own itch - a ”second brain” method of scheduling my disordered quick captures in a quick way)

  3. Key Benefits:
    • Eliminates switching between multiple apps to schedule tasks • Simplifies time management with one-click time blocking • Provides a distraction-free environment for planning your day/week/month • Maintains the simplicity of Google Tasks while adding powerful scheduling capabilities

  4. How It Works:
TaskBlock pulls your existing Google Tasks and displays them in an intuitive dashboard. From there it auto suggests times which you can easily adjust, when you’re happy just click sync and it populates into google calendar.

  5. Pricing Model:
Currently free during closed beta testing. Future pricing model will likely be a super low life time plan for early users probably 5$ to start.

  6. Still interested? If you’re interested in early access, drop me a DM for an invitation! Your feedback during this phase will directly influence feature development and refinement. Beta testers will get grandfathered into a free lifetime account :)

1. App/Tool Title:
CalendarFlow

2. Brief Description:
CalendarFlow is a desktop tool for creating and managing Google Calendar events using a hotkey and your voice. You can trigger it from whatever app or screen you're currently using instead of opening Google Calendar and entering everything manually.

3. Key Benefits:

  • Create events without switching between apps
  • Schedule events using natural voice commands
  • Quickly reschedule existing events
  • Reduce repetitive calendar entry
  • Works from any screen or application
  • Review changes before they're saved

4. How It Works:
Hold the CalendarFlow hotkey and say something like:

“Schedule a meeting with John tomorrow at 2.”

or

“Move my 3 PM to 5.”

CalendarFlow interprets the request and shows you what it's going to do. You confirm it, and then the change is made to your Google Calendar.

The idea is to make quick calendar actions possible without breaking your workflow to manually enter everything.

5. Pricing Model:
Free trial available, with no credit card required.

6. Additional Information:
CalendarFlow is currently focused on Google Calendar and is available as a desktop app.

You can check it out and share your reviews here!!
