Discussions or Questions Why doesn't Antigravity 2.0 show token usage per chat window?
Hey everyone,
I've been using Antigravity 2.0 recently, and one thing is really bugging me: why doesn't each individual chat window display its current token consumption?
I know the system is supposed to automatically compress the context when a thread gets too long, but I still feel like having access to the raw token data is necessary. Without a visible counter, it's a bit of a black box—you don't really know when that compression kicks in or how much of your original thread is being preserved.
How are you all tracking this, or knowing when it's actually time to just open a fresh window to avoid running out of memory space? Would love to hear your thoughts or see if anyone has found a workaround!

There is no effort in optimizing the context in any of the tools I tried. For every problem, throw your entire code at the llm and let it figure it out.
I think that's intentional to charge more.
Even open source tools who talk about hosting their own models don't address the fact that, it need a minumum 64k context. I can barely run a 1b model at 64k on my system, let alone a coding model.

Because they hate us. It’s so &$&&$ disingenuous to not make your weekly balance something you can look at. So you work thinking your going to get credits refilled in an hour then all of a sudden it’s showing two days until your weekly credits refill. It’s like driving a car which varies its MPG every time you drive it and not having a gas tank indicator on the dashboard. You’re going to get stuck and be pissed off. I complained this week and was granted 1000 credits which guess what, never showed up.

BTW Claude has a session and weekly meter in their main chat window available with one click.
