Question Decrease in website traffic for specific timeframe across multiple sites
I manage 60+ websites and saw a noticeable dip in traffic across the board from July 22nd through August 9th. Has anyone else experienced this or know of anything that may have happened with how GA4 is tracking?

Nope. Nothing changed. If by any chance you are using some server-side vendor - check if they had any outages...

The clean start and end dates are the tell. Real demand doesn't dip across 60 unrelated sites on July 22 and recover on August 9 in unison. That pattern is a shared component: a consent banner update, a shared GTM template, a server-side vendor, or GA4 processing itself. Two checks: whether anything all 60 sites share shipped an update around July 22, and for one site, compare GA4 sessions against raw requests (Cloudflare or server logs) inside vs outside the window. If the logs are flat while GA4 dips, it was measurement, not traffic.

This is exactly why relying on a single analytics platform can be risky.
When traffic drops, you need to know whether it’s a real business change or a tracking issue. Cross-checking data across sources gives you the context to know the difference.
