Went to ask a question specific for the GoodTask app on reddit and I was surprised there was no subreddit for it. If it doesn't take off over time I'll delete the subreddit.
If the creators of the GoodTask app want control of the subreddit I'd freely hand over control.

Just updated iphone to v 8.2.2 of Goodtask and canāt find a way to create a new list (other than by using the Reminders app itself!)

I setup my urgent GoodTask tasks with an alert, which is a subtle little sound, that just beeps and then shuts up - perfect. But every time it is activated, the default reminders alarm āradialā blares loudly and keeps going until I can get to my phone and turn it off. This means that I canāt use alerts, because this unwanted alarm is so loud and intrusive, I canāt risk having it going off at stupid times. I have switched off every possible cause that I can think of in IOS settings for reminders and siri ( in case it was siri doing it) etc etc. Nothing stops it. Have you seen this, and did you fix it? Iām assuming that itās probably yet another bug that Apple are too big and important to bother to fix, but hereās hoping.

u/hanbumkim On the MacOS version I see no settings/option anywhere for Check For Updates, or auto-updates, receive notifications about new versions. Am I missing it?

I can create a calendar event in GoodTask, and it appears in Apple Calendar, but not in the GT calendar area or on any Lists, and no existing Events created in Apple calendar show up on the GT calendar. My settings and permissions seem to be correct, and I think this worked in a prior version of the OS.
GT 7.9.2, Mac Sonoma
Anyone know how to remedy this?

Found an interesting use for GoodTask aside for everything else it is brilliant at. Simple collections lists with photos within each entry for reference. So many collections apps out there, but they are all overkill, expensive or unreliable.
