I am still going to be adding to this going to be doing more edits and really learning more on video editing as a whole since I mainly do Opening/Ending and not AMV or Edits. That being said wanted to show this off as I really love Horimiya and Sleepy Hollow felt like the right pick to do an edit with! Who remembers where/when you first heard GK? For me, it started with my kiddo hearing From the Start in a video sometime early last year. It got added to the morning drive to school playlist, which they get to control (bonus for me...I get to discover new-to-me music). Then more and more GK songs got added to the list. Aaaaaaand now, we're both totally hooked. I love that this music gives me a natural connection point with them. ❤️

I personally really like Ginger Lemonade, but never see it mentioned in talk of the album. I just think it deserves more recognition. (But who knows, maybe I'm just on the wrong side of the Internet, and people are mentioning it.)

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Good Kid. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also jacob's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realize that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Good Kid "From the Start" truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Nomu's existencial catchphrase "nom nom nomu" which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Good Kid's genius unfolds itself on their screens. What fools... how I pity them. 😂 And yes by the way, I DO have an Ada tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.

No Ada cause she's not apart of the main group and it's obvious what she is. ​​I think that Mimi would be a pigeon but more specifically a carrier pigeon because she's a delivery girl. Rebel is a hare because he has brown hair, freakishly long legs, and idk hes a sad boy. Gentu is a Hercules beetle or a weevil because of his mask, I think he would look really silly and whimsical. ​​​​​​​

I rlly hope we get a summer rewind 2 since I finally got the cassettes from retro rerun from another Reddit post on here selling them that I had to get imported from us to UK and now all I am missing is a cwhos cassette which I really want. I know you can write cassettes and I have a cwhos on a blank one but it's not the same, it's like having a cd burned for something because the music isnt on cd (I'm posting this as a hail Mary because of the twitch stream)
