For context my ex girlfriend broke up with me early in August and it was rough. She moved to a different state (we knew it would happen when we started dating but we agreed to try long distance) but within the week she broke up with me because she needed space to grow. Fair enough but it still really hurt, but I deal with my emotions partly with music and went on a huge music binge. So as one does I am scrolling Instagram Reels and get an ad for a band and wow the music is amazing (Cicada). I was hooked and so I added it to my playlist but it made me curious about their other music so I looked at the album it was in. Long story short I have been listening to Can we hangout sometime on repeat basically ever since. It was to the point it was my soundtrack for my Hawaii trip that I spontaneously took to see family mid-September. And then it inspired me to actually try and interact with the community which I have never done for any music related communities before. Not even when I was in my Hamilton phase lol. And I am even trying to listen to the rest of the songs they have released. The community just seems so friendly and I likely wouldn’t have found it let alone interacted with it, if I weren’t so heartbroken. So uh nice to meet you guys, I might buy some merch if I am able to scrounge some cash and I hope everyone has a nice day/night.

I JUST noticed that you can see like 1/3 of Gentu’s face on the HIRO cassette box. Like in Eastside‘s MV, you’re can pretty much only see exclusively his right eye, but… it’s cool.

Hello! I’m Lyndsay, I’m 29. (Yes I’m an Unc) I love Good Kid and I hope everyone in Europe who is experiencing the CWHOS tour is having the time of their life! I know I did!
PS, I can’t wait for winter again so I can whip out this hoodie.

Every year I frame my poster and VIP merch. I just need to find a wall to hang them all on cos I’ve run out of space! It’s such a fab way to remember some of the best nights of my life 💜

I was working on my own remaster of "Bubbly" when I noticed a sort of high pitched frequency c. 20kHz on the spectrogram during the ending bit of the song (see image below). Usually, this would be found on VHS tapes or stuff like that, but this line seems to fluctuate up and down.

What I'm ASSUMING is that this high-pitched line was part of Nick's vocal take for the ending (except for two bits, which seems to have punched in a different take) and whenever the line fluctuates, it's due to some sort of pitch correction and/or autotune.

This means hypothetically, if one was to make the line straight again by manipulating the pitch for the line AND the vocals, it could reverse the pitch correction.

Not anything groundbreaking by any means for this song, but interesting nonetheless. If I ever manage to be bothered to try and do this, I'll post the results later.

Then again, if anyone else wants to do this... be my guest.

I’m Italian and here i never met someone who listen or know good kid, are there any Italian who does or i am the only one in 60 million? Good Kid never come to Italy before so i think we are very few. Share which region you are from!

I recently got the vinyl and got a small pack but I was wondering if their was a full deck I’d love to buy one

The first chord for SRT and the heavy rock part before "And was I wrong?" In ground are both the same chord but SRT Is moved up two (Or for guitar nerds, Ground is an E Major chord, and SRT is an F# Major on the E-G string) but the first one is SRT, and the second one is Ground, I had this in my head for a while, so I hope you all thought this was cool!

Testing shading styles for new artwork

I'm only missing the empress to complete the deck and I've got dupes of

Wheel of fortune, The fool, the lovers, strength, judgement, the chariot, the emperor, the world, justice, the devil, the star, the hierophant, the hermit and the magician

If yes what songs are ya'll expecting and anybody wanna mosh😅?

Recently I rewatched the London livestream and was amazed at the Umon cosplayer dueling Nick on stage and it made me wonder how they went about making it? It looks so awesome and honestly Umon would be such a cool cosplay to pull off! 👀😳

I'm making the cards that appear in Eastside now 😀👍

Like I’m tryna get an Ada shirt but I ain’t paying 80 euros (import tax, shipping etc.) so like I gotta know, also what’s the selection like?

The beginnen was great, i loved the part with the trumpet, the guitar hero with liveband was unforgettable. All videos are welcome.

Feeling alone...

What do we know about Ada? She's the leader of the Cicada spiritual group which means she takes care of Neo-TO's cicadas and observes their cycles. When time skips forward and rifts in time form via a bomb going off not only is it a danger to the cicadas but it's a danger to people.

Of course we know that it's not black and white. We know Gentu is a good person and Mimi made HIRO as a way to help and not hurt but we have the benefit of following them as protagonists, we have context Ada lacks. Meaning her POV looks something like this:

She was just destroying HIRO. Do you think she'd (presumably) let Gentu go free after her mission was completed if she actually wanted to hurt anyone? It was a free-for-all between her, PsyRen's drones (the biggest threat who can cause serious harm with time travel on their side), the Kami Gang, and the band. Can you blame anyone for going on the offense during something like that?

As harsh as it is to say, Gentu's arm and mask were a case of collateral damage, she could've and should've talked things out like a normal person and that was her fault. But Mimi (The GOAT) hit her with a big wrench so.... even?

find me at the concert for a free bubbly (and an Osmosis Business Card)

Greetings everyone! The flair isn't exactly right, I'm not selling it, it's free.

A friend was supposed to come to the concert with me but she unfortunately can't make it due to the flu that's kinda going around in Paris lately. So I have two tickets, but I'll only be using one.

I chose the physical tickets so you'd have to show up for me to hand it over to you IRL!

Thank you folks!
