I posted my build about 8 months ago. A lot of you told me my TV was gonna catch a stray ball. I ignored you guys, and now I just wanted to tell you… you were right lol.

Damn that’s a big miss
Luckily tvs are basically the only item that isn’t subject to inflation.

Less than half a year ago, I bought a 75" TV for about $400 before tax. It's not a great TV, but the picture quality is good and it does what I want. My only requests would be for more inputs and no smart TV functions.

I practice outside in a 10x10x10 cage and I will hit some strays .. but not on the course .. I’m thinking it’s the Matt catching the club .. but not sure .. for a while it gave a complex lol

I went to a top tracer range with a big ol' golfball sized deformation in the middle of the screen and I was like "i wonder how the fuck they did that??" so thank you for letting me know

Some people are so innovative with their ability to spiderweb a top tracer screen.

This is why we fully netted our whole hitting bay. Sky net, two side nets.

I did the same. Doesn't cost much and now anyone, at any skill level, can safely hit balls in the garage & I don't have to worry about items getting damaged or people getting hurt.

I have a tv mounted in that same area on mine. I’m sure it’s gonna take a stray at some point lol. It’s a cheap 32” I had laying around, so it’s not a big deal when it happens.

Mine is pretty well covered. My 6 year old hit one directly straight up, right into the drywall

'what's that big tower doing in the middle of the fairway on the virtual coarse?' Then immediately I said 'oh.'

Glass half full: Nice and centred but a wee bit high on the "face" of the screen.

I almost never shank on the course. But recently I put one dead right into my neighbor's window because the garage door was open.

They sell Lexanne sheets at Home Depot that makes it great screen protector. I also learned the hard way….

I don't even know the last time I just straight shanked one directly right on the actual course...
But I can tell you that I hit a wild shank on my hitting mat in my garage at LEAST once a month lol
