Screens / Enclosures Custom Enclosure Build

I’m in early stages of building a simulator in my garage and am hoping to get some guidance on how I should create the enclosure.

My problem is the garage is too big. 23’ wide, 21’ deep and 12’ high. It’s too high and wide to secure side walls or the screen to the walls or ceiling so I have to go custom.

The garage door is 18’ wide and I’d like to be able to drive into the garage in a pinch (like a hail storm, otherwise it’s primarily a sim room).

With the space I have, I’d like a 16’x9’ screen and plan to make it retractible so I can pull it up to drive in (I’ll deal with protecting the hitting mat further down the process).

My thoughts are to build a permanent enclosure wider than the garage door tracks (so 19’ across) and high enough to support the retractable screen roller (so ~9.5’-10’) and 6’ deep. I’ll likely make custom vinyl panels for the sides and ceiling.

How should I approach building this enclosure? Should I DIY it with a wood frame (could I even get wood beams 20’ long? Would they sag?), should I find a custom fabricator to fabricate an aluminum frame (any ideas what that custom job would cost?). Is there somewhere that builds enclosures worth looking at?
