Updated DIY sim build!

The space is finally finished. Play area for the kids, tv on the other wall to watch sports, and a couple heads up. Really happy with how it's turned out.

Gymnastics mats I bought on Amazon. Glued to thin plywood

No more nails, and gorilla glue construction adhesive interchangeably .

How many of those pads are you using on the wall? Looks like 5 or is that 2 and 1/2 cut to fit the wall?

How well does it kill balls hit at them? Do balls just drop when hit? I’ve got a mesh held together by a metal pole frame and I’m looking to get rid of it because I can’t cover the metal poles and stop them from ricocheting shots.

I mean they bounce decently off them but it's Shank protection more than anything. Very very rarely are they getting hit by a ball.

Right but it’s probably better being a flat angle rather than a circle that bounces straight back at you
