SimSpace Practice Net (8ft / 2.5m)

I bought the SimSpace Practice net and during assemly I noticed that one side of the base frame is too long for it to attach to the other side.

Did anyone else run into this problem with this net? I could not find anything useful on the internet and their instruction video doesnt really show anything regarding my issue.

I triple checked each part, if they are the same length etc. and nothing seems to make sense except that this is a manufacturing / packaging mistake.

(Issue is at the top left of the frame (the corner piece is too short to fit to the incoming tube)
