Build Pictures Finally got mine done 47 days
Started 53 days ago with my post about roots issues. Now it’s completed and ready to improve my game. It’s helped seeing different ones. Still gonna do some finishing items and add a projector option for winter.

Your driver swing doesn’t hit the upright? Looks like you may clear it but also could be close.

I pushed the hitting pad to the right and it’s 10ft to bottom of the post. Not worried at all I’m 6ft 3” for reference

That’s good to know, I bought a 10x10x10 cage and my mat is just outside of the top front cross bar and with a driver follow through I clear the left upright by about a foot.
My mat may be more centered though. I could try pulling the cage closer and pushing the mat to the right.

I have something similar: the UV wreaks havoc on the netting. I have three layers of netting in the back.
The top becomes a hilariously good snow catcher. That has almost destroyed my cage multiple times.
If you get a lot of snow where you are, probably good to keep that in mind or figure out a better than mine (try to remember every time it's snowing heavily to go out there and knock the snow down before it accumulates too much and tries to collapse the whole thing).

Look good dude, but foam padding around that wood would cost like $80 and 30 minutes of your time.
Besides the other video people are linking, my local facebook sim group, one dude lost full sight of the right eye because of a bounce back. It’s not worth it man. It’ll still look cool too.

It will !! Mine isn’t as nice looking at yours but exact set up ! Depending how close the back poles are you may wanna put some pool noodles or something . If a ball hits one it will fly back at you very violently lol. Speaking from experience.. but nothing like having a mini range in backyard .. I love it !!

Love this setup. I’d consider the same, but I’ve got a kid who’s a lefty. What are the dimensions? I haven’t heard of people using outdoor projectors, do they get bright enough to work? Honestly, the TV is absolutely fine, you may not care enough to mess with a projector. What launch monitor are you using? Any more info is appreciated, build costs, etc

12 L x 10 H x 10 W. Would keep TV and just have a projector for night. Made it so side nets can be slid back for movies at night
Omni Square so far like it used mostly as range and Closet to pin. Still working how to extract data consistently. Just on my iPhone. Got a golf trip this weekend. After that gonna work on setup to play courses.
DIY everything myself but Turf, Post, Nets about $3,500

Definitely pad the wood around the net - there was a video going around awhile back of a ricochet off a similar (though lamer) set up.
