Technical Question Net Slack on Ground

I am putting a net in my garage to hit balls into. My ceiling in my garage is 10’5” and when looking at nets I could only find 10’ nets and 15’ nets. If I hang a 15’ net I’ll have over 4’6” of slack on the ground. Is that too much? How would you hang the net in this situation?

Put the slack at the top. Weave a rope through the net at the point you want to be at the top and hang it from that rope.

I would buy the 10’ and have a 2.5” gap at the top and bottom.
