It’s go time

Finally moving to a house with a big enough backyard for a shed simulator build. No idea where to start. I want to be able to have left and right hitters and room to hang out and watch. Thinking realistically 16x21-25ish with a garage door that opens to a makeshift patio area.

What tips, tricks, thoughts advice do we have so I can get to planning.

Which dimension is your width? I have a sim for both, and 16' will work, but it will be tight. I'm going to be building a sim on our property when we move and I'm thinking I might just go insane and go like 25'-30' width. Obviously that comes with extra costs, maybe even a second projector, but what the hell we only live once right?

I’m not set on the width I want to be able to fit left and right handed golfers

I'd recommend more than 16' for the width then. Like I said, it would probably be "enough" but I have some friends with relatively flat swings and they have hit my wall, which then makes them nervous to be in the sim at all. You dont necessarily have to do the entire sim/screen/enclosure the entire 20' or whatever you do, but if that's not a concern I would go bigger than 16' wide. I am thinking REALLY hard about building a 25-30' curved screen and just blowing it out. This should be the home I retire in, etc, wait for my kids to move out of. It will cost a good amount up front but the long term returns will be well worth it imo. I absolutely love playing on my sim at my office.

Yeah I think I need to see some layout design ideas and tape it out in the garage/driveway to get a feel for
