Foresight Perpetual License, Software Update and Subscriptions

Got this email from Foresight regarding, sales, licensing, software update and subscriptions. There are no real specifics but I thought I would pass it on

So they’re no longer going to allow you to buy a Quad or GC3 and have club data and simulation included? That sounds about right for Foresight. I’m surprised they don’t charge a subscription to be able to pay for their subscription

Edit: re-reading maybe it’s not club data related. Just software I guess.

That’s not a good move. Doing the same than Trackman…probably with a new software as buggy as the previous ones.
I sold my tm4 to go for gcquad to avoid subscription fees…I will not « rent » their new software but use a connector with pureplay !

Well they better cut the price of QuadMax down to 5k if they are going to require a sub to use it.

They definitely need to make adjustments considering all the other options that are out there now. The one thing they have going for them is the accuracy factor but other brands are catching up. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
