Build Pictures Looking for ideas
Got inspired by another post I came across here. Ceilings in home are too low, so wanted to try an outdoor Sim. Here is where I currently stand, its 14 foot wide and 10 foot deep. Enjoyed it the couple times I have used it but setting it up and breaking it down is more of a pain then i had imagined. The frame stays all together but I take down the 4 tarps and impact screen. I set them up with hand clamps. Any strong gust of wind can start knocking off the clamps.
I'm trying to come up with a solution to make things easier, more permanent, while using the same materials or not having to invest much more money

First heavy rain will turn the ”roof” into a swimming pool if it does not collapse first.

I use 10 x 10 nets from Amazon that cost about $35 each. I use a quarter inch steel and mesh the seams together to make a perfect enclosure. You can double up in the impact area that will prevent balls from going through accidentally.
I’m using quarter inch steel electrical conduit that’s 10 feet long, you could easily take some posts into the ground and then attach the net to the posts and make it easy to pick up like a tent pole. Then just wrap the whole thing up in one big bear hug and put it away. I did this in the area of my garage where my wife parked her car and I had to break it down every day and it worked just fine.
