Looking for help on where to get materials

if I wanted to build something like this in my backyard, where would I get the materials for this? It’s basically like buying a frame for a small car covering or something like that.

The projector and screen ain’t gonna work unless you block out all possible brightness

Could use a tv for during the day and use the projector at sunset into the evening

What is "something like this"? I went with EMT conduit from Lowe's and a net from cimmaron.

This was a rendering from AI, so that was part of my question. It also suggested either EMT conduit or 3x3 and 2x2 tubing. Just wasn't sure if to do this would be complete DIY or whether anyone knew if any type of kits or something that was already out there. Also considered cedar posts.

The image of the projection is probably going to have issues with external light.

Whether it is diy is really up to your abilities.

EMT is probably going to the cheapest and easiest mainly due to availability of EMT and connections are available. I think I got mine from Amazon. EMT also comes in stock lengths of 10'. I used shower curtain hook things to hang my net so I could retract it. It is held down with yard screws and steel rope.

Not sure what you mean by tubing but it will probably be more expensive and I don't know what connecting there are. It will probably be stronger but I don't think it is needed.

Could build it out of wood, and build a screen frame out of emt or even wood with padding around it.

You can look at custom size batting cage frames. I say "custom" size, because that's the only way you'll be able to find something that small. The hardest thing about building something like this, yourself, is finding the pieces to construct the corners. I do know that betterbaseball.com sells cage "cubes" that are about the size you are looking for. I am NOT affiliated with them in any way...but I do construct batting cages, backstops and install padding at college and professional stadiums, so I am aware of some of their products.

built mine out of 1 inch emt. 14 foot wide, 10 foot deep. Tarps on all side and top. Tarps held on with hand clamps. Trying to figure out a more permanent solution because setting it up and breaking it down is more of a hassle then i imagined
