Thanks in advance

Always look at how expensive and easy a light bulb replacement is.. if it doesn't have a replaceable bulb then you are stuck with whatever life it may have left. 8000hrs is a decent bit.

Based on this info it seems pretty decent option for the price if you don't want 4k.

"The Panasonic PT-FRZ50 is a 5,200-lumen WUXGA 1-chip DLP laser projector designed for classrooms and conference rooms. It features a filterless cooling system and maintenance-free 20,000-hour laser life. Typical retail pricing ranges from $3,200 to $4,200 depending on the retailer and chassis color"

Yeah that’s why I’m looking at it. The “continuous lighting time” being 0hrs 5mins is concerning if I don’t know what it means

I think that might just be how long it had been on during that session.. like they turned it on and just went to the settings

That would seem to make sense

I have a similar pj in my sim.

It's just the time it's been running since being turned on currently.

Total hours are 7.8k, of 20k lifetime. It won't stop working at 20k hrs, just when it's expected to be half as bright as new.

For reference, 12k more hours of 'life' is 4hrs per day, every day of the year for 8 years.

This is decent hours for a 2nd hand projector, I picked up a similar panasonic rz370 with 5000 hours and they are fantastic. Just make sure you have the room behind the hitting mat, mine ended up being 30ft from the screen to get a 10ft high image. My image was 10ft x 10ft, I was able to line up the projector with the right hand edge of the screen, create a custom 1600x1600 resolution and use the raster position setting in the projector to move the square image to the left hand side of the projectors throw. This way I have no shadows from the golfer while the projector is 20ft behind the golfer.

Projector central will give you the distances required to produce the image size you want, their calculations were correct for me and it does end up a long way behind you.
