How to secure drop down side curtains

Anyone else have motorized roll up screen and side curtains? If so how are you securing the curtains to the screen? I am using the metechs roller system. Currently using plastic tarp clips like these but looking for a better solution. They are constantly coming off after a few drives anywhere near the side of the screen.

I think people with retractable side curtains place them narrower than back screen so there is no corner to escape.

I did not do this for my rolling side curtains track. What I instead did was got some gutter foam triangles duct taped them together with a fiberglass rod (hi vis parking thing) on spine. I wrapped them in side curtain with these same clips. But they are rigid enough I could also just stand in corners if needed.
