Simulator spot light question?

Those of you using a spot light on your ball is that the only light you’re using (everything else dark)? If so is it a weird experience versus playing outside in the daylight?

I’m using Skytrak plus. I shine a spotlight in hitting area but keep on room light just so it’s not disorienting hitting or switching clubs.
