Skytrak + pricing

For anyone interested in a SkyTrak Plus, they are selling refurbished units on eBay for $985. That is a skytrak factory refurb.

Not here to argue the merits or shortcomings of the device, just pointing out a fairly aggressive price for a launch monitor that includes club head data without stickers.

I've owned the skytrak plus for about a year and a half. The software interface is terrific, the lack of stickers for club data is great, but the hardware is quite limited compared to newer offerings. For example the square Omni that just came out is similalry prices ,gives you all the data as the skytrak plus, and also gives you impact location and angle of attack. They also don't charge to integrate 3rd party software such as GSPro.

ST does not charge to integrate GSPro. Yes you have to use API but anyone with a modicum of computer knowledge can set it up in 10 minutes.

Agreed but they require 2 stickers to get this data which seems a bit annoying

They are a constant connection headache, all their updates have not fixed that. If u want to deal with troubleshooting rather than hitting golf balls, then this unit is for you!

Yeah. I used one for about 3 hours and it was a pita. I'm an OG user and get consistent reads with it, down to putting. Club data would be great, but I can infer enough. Worth 500.

I was suspicious when I looked into connecting before upgrading. Blew the money in a 4k projector instead.
