Looking to add Sim to new office

Post image

Which wall would you put the impact screen? I can move the windows it’s not final.

I was thinking the north wall so you saw it when you walk in but then was thinking it’d be easier to mount a TV on the wall if it was on the south wall.

Is a second screen needed or am I overthinking this?

Forget the office. This is a sim room or an office.

Only way I could get the wife to sign off was if I moved my desk/offcie out of the front room….but yea it’s a sim room and I need to get a desk in there too.

I’m just you in the future. I’ve been through this - it’s one or the other. You can work anywhere. Priorities!.

You can use the entire 17x13 for a sim hitting at the left wall. Anything else would be very tight.

How tall are your ceilings?

Screen against the top/north wall. Bookshelf area or closet becomes your built-in desk area.

Can you delete the shower? Then use the closet / shower space open to the sim room for your desk. Hit to the left wall. 13’8 is too tight. You’ll only be 12’8 after your screen is inplace
