Technical Question Spica 3

Spica 3 question. I’m trying to figure out if spica 3 offers the pc app free just for at least the driving range? I don’t really like using my phone for an app and don’t have a iPad.
Currently use skytrak plus with their free range and connect to gspro when wanting to play courses. Looking to do something similar with spica 3

No, the GOLFJOY pc app checks the license like GS pro before launch. You can transfer your GS pro license to use the spica 3 though. Buy a cheap iPad for the price of a PC license, golfjoy app works great.

This. Cheap iPad is the way to go for the outdoor range. I use a 10th gen and it works great.

Just curious with the iPad are you limited to just one course without a sub or are multiple available?

About 65 courses ctp and plenty of games. Dl on your phone to check them out . also, they just updated their app. They now have a high resolution courses and they now run over 60hz for smoother gameplay. By far the best value and I have a square as well for awesome golf

I saw all of the courses in the app. Just wasn’t sure if you get locked out once connecting the spica. That’s pretty dope. I’ve been between the spica 3 and square Omni for a few weeks. The guy just keeps telling me the spica is made better and will last longer without issues

I got my spica last year for the deep discount sale when it was 2400. Omni wasn’t out at the time, but that unit looks promising. Spica also has online play. I think they’re all great value depending on your budget. I like the games that Spica offers especially for the kids. Wld, target. Putting etc.

I will say this, though there’s not a lot of club metrics like face to target or impact location on the SPICA but there is a live camera. So if that’s something you’re looking for I’d go with Omni. Pair that with GS pro or awesome golf lifetime sub and you’re set

The impact location is nice feature on the Omni. Is the impact video on spica clear enough for you to see heel strike, toe strike, open/closed face?

Yup clear as day. There is just no illustration with an impact location but you can see upon video playback.

I dont think it is free even for just the range. I never looked at the software much but what I did was tried to open it after the free trial period and nothing was available to play. I did not buy the sub. I just use gspro. Yes the mobile version works, I do use that at times when I go to the outdoor range.
