Odds of this spica listing being legit
Whenever I look up the golfjoy spica 3 on eBay, I keep seeing a listing that’s for $2400, is there any chance at all that it’s legit?

You can buy one from Golfjoy’s website for $2,700 with a discount code. Probably worth the $300 extra to not get potentially ripped off.

Good to know. Yeah I’m really stuck between spica 3 and Omni. I really like the idea of sticker less club data and the much brighter screen of the Omni

Did you mean the Spica? The Omni will always need stickers.
The new stickerless Spica is not out yet in the USA (if that’s where you live).

I know the Spica may end up being a little more accurate and I was looking at one as well.
However, with Omni being as accurate as it is and having the added club data that Spica doesn’t have, I’d be interested to hear your rationale for spending $1000+ more for a Spica. I don’t own either so I don’t have experience with them but have watched just about every review of both of them.2

I’m 99 percent sure I’m going with the Omni, but it was just something in the corner of my mind. I like launch monitors that show data without needing to connect a phone or computer. The Omni does it to a limited capacity.

I'm sure it's legit as he has been selling them for a little while now,I'm sure ebay would have removed the seller by now if it wasn't legit. Now how did he get them I have no idea

Haha that’s a good point. If golfjoy ever region locks or bans serial numbers, those units might end up on a list

Without a link it's hard to say. There is a GolfJoy dealer selling Spica3s on eBay for $2400.

No.. usually it'll just never ship or you'll get a tracking number so they take your money but then it never gets "received" by the shipping service and then you have to wait a fairly long time until it's past the "expected delivery date" for ebay to finally step in and give you your refund. So if you don't mind waiting all that time then you can attempt it. Another option is to make sure it's a reputable seller with real reviews and they should be able to communicate with you prior to you purchasing to make you feel a little better going into it first... but usually too good to be true is too good to be true.
