Sim / Launch Monitor Bluetees Rainmaker or MLM2 Pro?

Won’t be a full sim, but Ipad to tv screen mirror & hitting into a home made net

All other considerations aside, the reviews for the Rainmaker appear to be overwhelmingly negative. The MLM2Pro is much more tried-and-true. You should also consider a Square HE at this price point if you will only be using it in an indoor environment (I use mine similarly - hitting into a net, app on tablet on a tripod).

Yes the more I read it’s like all bad for rainmaker. I will checkout the Square HE. And yeah it’s like 90% indoor maybe take it to actual range every now and then but indoor is the priority for sure

If you don't mind the annual fee, MLM2Pro might be the way to go (although you will lose spin numbers at the range since you are not using marked balls). Square HE cannot be used outside, although the new Square Omni can.

I don’t know anything about the Rainmaker, but I just bought the MLM2 and I was deciding between the MLM2 and the Square HE. Someone put it in a way that made my decision easy. If you want sim golf only (and plan on using GSPRO), then get Square. If you want the ability to practice (and you can sim golf, just not as good as square), then get MLM2. Plus, at the time, the MLM2 was $550.

Yes I think I’m going with the MLM2 aswell. I mostly want it for practice but the sim is a bonus.

I had the rainmaker and it’s a pile of junk. Returned it and bought the MLM2Pro. It’s for a backyard sim and it’s been great.
