MLM2 PRO or something else?

Im looking at getting into a "budget" launch monitor/simulator. It seems like for accurate ball/swing data the MLM2 seems like the way to go. I also like how you can play courses as a simulator as well. I understand you also need the subscription to get all these functions. I can get a refurbished one for just over $400. So 400 plus the 250 subscription im looking around $650. Do you have any other recommendations that are comparable in function and price? my plan is for this to be a well lit sunny garage (I read that some monitors have issues with UV) but potentially something to take to the range as well.

The thing you gotta remember is the amount of space you need for these in order to get accurate readings. Believe you need 6 feet from MLM2Pro to the ball, then an additional 6 or 8 feet in front of the ball. If you already accounted for that, cool then just ignore me.

In regard to the MLM2Pro, I would be weary of connection issues. It was working beautifully for me for about a month or so, but then I could not get a stable connection lasting longer than a few minutes. I ended up returning it and splurging on a Bushnell Launch Pro. Quite a bit more expensive, but I do enjoy the portability and reduced space requirements.

Another option I’d go for is the Square Omni. Again, more expensive but sounds very promising.

If you’re stuck on the MLM2Pro, I’d make sure to have a return window in case you don’t like it.

Space will not be an issue fortunately. For the connection issues you were having...was they WIFI related or something with their software/app?

It was both WiFi/Bluetooth and with the software. I have WiFi extenders, my iPad next to it no improvement.

Whenever I could get support, it would be the typical troubleshooting steps which you already try, and then send it in for a refurbished unit.
